The Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) is the off taker for this innovative project.

Project Description : Expansion of Dubai Metro Redline (Route 2020) for EXPO 2020
Dubai Metro Red line extension to increase transport access to the 2020 World Expo in Dubai. Project estimated cost is AED 10.6 billion. It comprises a 15 km long line, of which 11.8 km is elevated section and remaining 3.2 km is underground with depth ranging between 12.5m and 36m. The new route is having 7 new metro stations including one interchange station, 3 elevated stations, 2 underground stations and one iconic station. The project also includes related roads & utilities works and construction of three main power supply sub stations

This method involved twisting the floor plate at every level to create the curved elevation.

Albahr Towers is a landmark development in Abu Dhabi, consisting of two 29-story, 145-meter-high towers. Its design is based on the concept of adaptive flowers and the 'Mashrabiya', a wooden lattice shading screen that acts as a secondary skin, mediating daylight and reducing glare. Albahr Towers was awarded the 2012 Tall Building Innovation Award by theCouncil on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH). This prestigious award recognized the tower's innovative facade design, which significantly reduces energy consumption and improves occupant comfort. The project was also awarded the MEED Quality Project of the Year Award in 2013.
