•Supervise day-to-day operations in the warehouse.
•Supervise loading and unloading operations.
•Supervise forklift and hand lift operations.
•Receiving finished goods from production department and count the physical quantity and stored in their correct manner according to storing location, temperature and humidity etc. on a first in first out basis to enable stock rotation.
•Maintain the physical stock as per daily store report.
•Implement safety procedures and standards in the warehouse.
•Check quality and condition of goods in the warehouse.
•Maintain inventory by conducting monthly physical counts, reconciling variances, inputting data.
•Maintain records of equipment, materials and products.
•Maintain storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles, recommending improvements.
•Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications.
•Keep the warehouse premises clean and neat.
