• Study the contract documents to become thoroughly acquainted with BOQ, measurement
methods, scope of work, contract conditions, and project specifications.
• Coordinates with the Project Manager and Contracts Administrator on the need to raise a variation
when there are differences between the Contract Documents and the Issued for Construction (IFC)
Documents.
• Assists in preparing the supporting documents of the projects claims (quantify with
substantiations, building-up rates, break-ups, etc.).
• Verifies the progress (either quantities or percentages) of the site, prepares Client Billing, reconciles
the actual progress with the client representative, and follows up on its approval from the Client.
• Prepares variation orders in coordination with Construction, Engineering, and Planning functions
and follows up on their approval by the Client.
• Performs quantity take-off based on the methods of measurements as set in the contract
documents (for both variations and final measurement of the projects).
• Prepares the as-built quantification for re-measurement contracts as specified in the contract.
• Prepare progress reports, which will include actual costs and manpower requirements to date and
the forecasted costs and manpower requirements to complete the project (Cost to Complete).
• Assists the planning team in the preparation of manpower/equipment productivity reports.
• Provide proposed cost to complete analysis to Project Manager and head office.

• Project Coordination: Collaborate with all departments to enhance site production and coordinate
with site engineers to assess project needs.
• Contract and Document Management: Study and prepare project contract documents, including
time schedules, design drawings, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ). Issue Requests for Information (RFI)
to address conflicting or missing information.
• Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts between various design components and conduct site audits
to compile necessary measurements.
• Technical Analysis: Analyze building codes, by-laws, and technical reports to determine impacts on
architectural and civil designs.
• Quantity Surveying: Conduct detailed quantity surveys to determine material procurement needs
and prepare invoices based on the quantity surveying process.
• Design Compliance: Represent the architect on-site to ensure compliance with design
specifications, advising on corrections under supervision.
• Documentation and Reporting: Create as-built drawings, review shop drawings, and document any
design changes, updating budgets accordingly.
• Material Management: Keep track of materials, ordering as needed, and provide technical support
for design and construction processes.
• ERP Utilization: Prepare monthly payment invoices for subcontractors using Oracle ERP, ensuring
all related documents are accurate and timely.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize AutoCAD to implement project design changes and produce detailed
shop drawings focused on aesthetics and cost control.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a methodical approach to work, ensuring high accuracy in
quantity takeoffs for materials such as blocks and plaster.
• Advisory Role: Advise managers and clients on improvements and new strategies to enhance
project outcomes.

• Took a long term experience in As Built, quantity surveying in Resident Building with AutoCAD,
Microsoft excel.
