Worked in various capacites and last position held was Team Lead - Data Center. Full charge of two data centers hosting 100+ racks. Responsible for managing the Data Center Operations Team consisting of 4 shifts across 2 Data Centers.

Team Lead - Data Center, Dubai world
Lead a team of 10 Data Center Operations staff manning two Data centers 24/7/365 that hosts mission critical business solutions of Dubai Customs, Economic Zones World, Dubai trade, DPWorld, Nakheel, Trakhees, Limitless, Istithmar, etc. contributing to the economy of Dubai.
- Ensures that service delivery meets agreed service levels. Creates and maintains a catalogue of available services. In consultation with the customer negotiates service level requirements and agrees service levels. Diagnoses service delivery problems and initiates actions to maintain or improve levels of service. Establishes and maintains operational methods, procedures and facilities in assigned area of responsibility and reviews them regularly for effectiveness and efficiency
- Drafts and maintains policy, standards and procedures for service component capacity management. Ensures the correct implementation of standards and procedures. Reviews information in conjunction with service level agreements to identify any capacity issues and specifies any required changes
- Installs or removes hardware and/or software, using supplied installation instructions and tools including, where appropriate, handover to the client. Conducts tests, corrects malfunctions, and documents results in accordance with agreed procedures. Reports details of all hardware/software items that have been installed and removed so that configuration management records can be updated. Provides assistance to users in a professional manner following agreed procedures for further help or escalation Maintains accurate records of user requests, contact details and outcomes. Contributes to the development of installation procedures and standards
- The management of all changes to the components of mission critical setup, from requests for change (RFC) through to implementation and review, to support the continued availability, effectiveness and safety of the infrastructure.
As Infrastructure and Operations Supervisor lead a team of 16 Data Center Operations staff manning two Data centers 24/7/365 that hosts mission critical business solutions of Dubai Customs, Economic Zones World, Dubai trade, DPWorld, Nakheel, Trakhees, Limitless, Istithmar, etc. contributing to the economy of Dubai.
Backup Administration:
- HP Data Protector: Installation, IDB maintenance, trouble shooting, backup configuration, scheduling and restoration.
- Familiar with file system, RMAN, SQL, NDMP, SharePoint, Exchange, VMware, Hyper-V backups and integrations.
- Symantec Backup Exec: Installation, maintenance, trouble shooting, backup configuration, scheduling and restoration.

EDI Administration:

As Computer Operator worked in four shifts in two Data Centers of Dubai Ports. Manage backups, monitor applications, data bases and network. Trouble shoot system issues. Manage VMS clusters. Shutdown and startup data bases and servers. Manage data center facilities like UPS, generator, CCUs.
As HRD Assistant developed HR system, using d-BASE III Plus to ease HR functions like leave, duty resumption, sick leave processing and monitor eligibility.
