Technical Advisor
• Configuration and monitoring of Routers, Firewall and Switches
o Assured network connectivity with internet access across a Microsoft TCP/IP.
o Configuration of IP address and subnet as per the requirement
o Configuration of DMZ sub-network
o Configuration of CFS and VPN Tunnels.

• Installation, configuration and Maintenance of servers

o Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
o Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
o Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
o Attaching iSCSI disks for storage management from external storage.
o Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
o Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
• Exchange server installation configuration and maintenance.
• Monitoring the health of replica and backup.
• Monitoring and maintenance of Endpoint antivirus (Sophos, McAfee - EPO, Kaspersky, Eset, TrendMicro, Symantec)
• Monitoring and maintenance of NAS / SAN
• Managed all types of IT issue including installation, configuration and administration of Windows 2003 and Windows 2008
• Administered installation, configuration, troubleshooting, support and maintenance of PC & peripherals including desktop computers, printers, scanners, modems, and networked printers
• Troubleshot operating systems like Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Window 7, Windows 8 and Macintosh systems
• Working on LAN and WAN with dedicated ISP’s through Media Converter, Canopy and Lease line modem and ensuring 24x7 network connectivity.
• Configuring, Monitoring Nomadix service engine (AG5600, AG3000, AG3100) and troubleshooting them.
• Creating of user’s accounts for Internet access using Nomadix Server.
• Installing of Wireless Ethernet Adapters in Standalone PC’s.
• Monitoring Iptran Router 2300 and Troubleshooting it.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting wireless routers / access points like Motorola, Zyxel, Netgear, D-Link and Linksys.
• Working on Web Server for intranet.
• Working on LAN and WAN networks (wired and wireless environment).
• Installing and troubleshooting of hardware and software related problems.
• Installing of all kinds of system and application software.
• Troubleshooting of wireless network in different Operating Systems like Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Window 7, Windows 8 and Macintosh systems.
• Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, support, and maintenance of PC and peripherals including desktop computers, printers, scanners, modems, and networked printers.
• Set up workstations and laptops for new employees, configured systems, ensured network connectivity, and installed and tested hardware and software.
• Ms-Office troubleshooting and email client configuration.
• Provide remote support over phone and through Remote Access softwares (TeamViewer, VNC, Ammyy Admin.).
• Trouble-shoot hardware and software related problems that arise in the company environment.
