• Project cost estimation.
• Yearly Corporate / Joint Venture Budget preparation and assisting in budget approval process by interacting with internal and external stakeholders including Government authorities.
• Monitoring of budget utilization for well construction and ensuring prior approvals for deviations.
• Vital role in Procure to Pay cycle process for well construction contracts.
• Ensuring contract management for various well construction contracts on pricing part.
• Daily Cost MIS for all on-going wells activities (on-shore / off-shore) i.e Drilling / Completion or Workover.
• Monthly MIS of total cost and expenditure analysis to allow for cash forecast and advance warning of Budget / AFE cost over-run.
• Preparation of Value of Work Done (VOWD) for monthly / yearly account closing and cost accruals to JV accountants for monthly JV partner billing / cash call etc.
• Verification, scrutiny of supplier’s invoices against service ticket, contract terms and Allocation of cost to appropriate wells, Projects, Budgets, AFE/WBS & account codes.
• Well Cost Reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Assisting in Decision making to management in various requirements, What-If analysis.
• Coordinating with the internal and external auditors.
• Cross functional coordination (Well Engineering, PSCM, Finance) for various internal and external reporting.
• Bill of Material (BOM) costing in discussion with Engineering, Design & Development department.
• Monitoring Raw Material purchases cost & variance analysis in comparison with BOM cost.
• Identifying possible areas of cost reduction in raw material, process cost.
• Monthly shop-wise cost MIS for Foundry, Fabrication, Painting and Powder coating shop.
• Preparation of Inputs for Cost Accounting Records and Cost Audit Report.
• Development of Costing System in a Dantal Hydraulics Pvt Ltd. (Engineering Industry).
