Responsibilities
• Support the Project Managers and team with planning, coordination and implementing of effective Environmental policies, guidelines and
procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met Assess environmental performance at the project-specific levels Assist in the enforcement of the company and project's environmental policies and systems.
• Expert in tree translocation work, done multiple of trees translocation work as per NEOM guidelines.
• Preparing of method of statement for the tree translocation work.
• Expert in Rapid terrestrial Ecological survey and report writing.
• Managing the multiple projects and guide the contractor environmental managers for all the environmental work as per NEOM environment standards.
• Attending all kick of meetings for all the projects.
• Review all the Environmental Reports before
submission to PMC or Client.
• Review environmental reports/submissions in design and construction, including, but not limited to, Environmental Permit Applications (EPAs), Ground Investigations (GIs) for geotechnical and geo-environmental scope of works, Terms of Reference and Scope of Works (ToR & SoW), Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), Framework Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs), Work Orders, Tender Documents, etc.
• Contribute to program-wide environmental processes, procedures, guidance notes, plans, policies, forms, etc. as needed.
• Contribute to environment reporting requirements.
• Attend environmental and sustainability and other relevant/associated meetings/workshops, as necessary.
• Provide environmental technical support to the construction teams.
• Responsible for site implementation of CESMP.
• Coordinate with all necessary internal and external stakeholders to support the successful delivery of projects as appropriate within the environmental scope.
• Support administrative functions within the environmental and sustainability team.
Conduct site assessments and technical audits to determine the environmental impact of operational activity.
• Address issues of non-compliance with the CEMP and advise solutions to prevent considerable environmental impact.
• Report any significant environmental incidents to the relevant Site Management and authorities as and when required.
Responsibilities
• Prepare Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) for the projects.
• Ensuring the Implementation of CEMP in all the projects.
Overseeing the daily activities of team members to maintain environmental management system (EMS).
• Preparation and implementation of WMP, ERP and Mobilization Plan.
Preparation and implementation of other Environmental Plans i.e., Surveillance Plan and Sustainability Management Plan and Greenhouse Gasses Emission Reduction Plan.
• Preparing the records of Fuel and Water consumption on the daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Preparing and update the daily, weekly and monthly environmental reports.
Monthly Inspection of vehicles and other machinery equipment.
• Aware of all EHSS Policies and norms including Environmental monitoring and Assessment, Environmental Field Reconnaissance and preparation of EIA report.
• Quarterly Inspection of Marine Vessels and other vehicles machines.
• Review, comment/recommend acceptance or otherwise of related contractors and their consultant submissions.
• Assessment of social changes arising out of development projects.
• Educating Company staff and workers on environmental programs and policies.
Recycling and reuse of non-hazardous industrial solid wastes.
• Identify areas of improvements to reduce environmental damages and wastes.
Working with team to develop effective environmental strategies to reduce contaminations.
• Conducting and supervision of Environmental Monitoring activities Air, Noise, Dust, Vibration, Water and Groundwater, Effluent discharge Management, Waste Generation and Management.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and training matters on topics such as construction environmental management, general environmental inductions, safe refueling practices, environmentally friendly machinery maintenance, storage of chemicals, and pollution prevention
