Role:
Managing Group Credit Portfolio of over SR 10 Billion.
Oversee and manage the relationships with banks and funding bodies to ensure that Bahri obtains favorable banking terms and SLAs.
Securing long term and short term facilities to ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
Ensure to comply the Hedging Policy of Bahri as approved by the Board of Directors.
Evaluation of investment opportunities, developing financial models and valuations.
Job Responsibilities:
• Supports the Treasury Director with the effective management of Bahri’s relations with banks and establishes and maintains positive working relations with banks and financial institutions
• Effective management of Bahri’s daily financial operating requirements, including letters of credit, letters of guarantees, renewal of facilities and new credit requirements.
• Responsible for the proper execution of bank accounts opening and closure in coordination with Cash Management Manager.
• Evaluates and advises on funding sources and financial instruments that meet Bahri’s needs and objectives
• Executes the Hedging transactions on SIBOR and LIBOR to manage the Bahri, s exposure to Interest Rate Risk. In addition also involved in Bunker Hedging and Freight Rate Hedging.
• Supervises the team of Banking Relations Officer to ensure proper production of daily bank positions and effective maintenance of bank credit facilities.
• Leads, directs, evaluates and develops the Finance team to ensure that objectives are met.
• Responsible for the development, performance appraisal and succession planning of all direct and indirect reportees.
• Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Treasury Director.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
• CFA, Virgina, USA.
Chartered Financial Analyst charter Holder since 2010.
• Masters in commerce with Finance Specialization from Hailey College, PU, Lahore, Pakistan.2005
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and administration skills.
• Advanced Financial Modelling Skills.
•Corporate Finance and Valuation Skills.
• Basic knowledge of Oracle based ERP.
• Over 10 years of experience in Banking, Finance / Treasury.
• Over 7 Years Experience in GCC, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
• English language fluency - Arabic language basic understanding.
To conduct comprehensive due diligence & credit risk assessment on green field project financing, machinery financing, working capital financing, indirect lending through risk participation, export credit insurance etc.
• To conduct thorough due diligence covering all pertinent credit and financial information, determines the need for more information, financial information and prepares credit request packet (including borrower(s) financial statements analysis, stress testing, management & technical know-how review, supplier risk, peer analysis, guarantor(s) analysis, credit risk modeling, collateral valuation analysis, demand- supply gap, market analysis, industry competitiveness etc.).
• Restructuring of distress accounts based on the cash flow based repayment capability of the project.
• Responsible for structuring transactions, review loan agreements, and preparation of term sheets for new financing deals, waivers, amendments, annual reviews, watch-list reviews & temporary extensions.
Al Raedah is a rapidly growing Islamic Finance company in Riyadh; registered with SAMA, mainly deals in Islamic Financing to Corporate/SME clients in Saudi Arabia. I Joined Credit Department of AAILC as Manager Corporate Credit with responsibilities include;
• Developed a corporate portfolio of high quality assets amounting SAR 250.00 Million; mainly comprised of debt investments in ongoing businesses, capacity enhancements and new projects.
• Project evaluation and due diligence in relation to financial, credit, quality of management, technical and marketing aspects including reviewing feasibility studies, market and technical reports.
• Effective management of risk/return, optimal pricing of credit transactions to maximize ROE and revenue of credit portfolio.

Successfully supervised the lengthy process of registration of company with Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA).
Joined Corporate Banking Department of Meezan bank Ltd as Assistant Manager with functional designation of Relationship Manager-Corporate.
Major assignments include:
Preparation of Credit Line Proposals, which include Fresh Disbursements / Renewals & One Time Transactions. Credit appraisal constitutes providing comprehensive information on Financial Analysis, Industry Analysis and SWOT Analysis etc. for presentation before the relevant credit committees.
Structuring asset based financing transactions in a manner that suits required financing needs and matches the customer’s cash cycle.
Credit portfolio management, completion of Security documentation and ensuring compliance with SBP PRs.
Review of quality of credit portfolio on a regular basis, and formulation of future strategy for each account.
Assisting the Product Development team and Shariah Audit Manager in development of process flows and revision of Shariah guidelines, in light of practical business and Shariah issues
Hold regular meetings with existing clients to strengthen relationships and to seek ancillary business. Visit prospective clients to explore new business avenues, promote bank’s products and establish potential business. Writing detailed visit reports to be presented to Head office in Karachi.
