• Part of the HR Leadership team, reporting to Head of HR and leading a team of 12 personnel including 4 HRBPs
• Responsible for heading strategic HR Business Partnering function ensuring effective HR strategies are developed and implemented to achieve business goals and objectives
• Lead HRBPs in enhancing business performance through appropriate advice and facilitation of robust, integrated people management strategies and processes
• Lead HRBPs in driving employee engagement initiatives ensuring an engaged/enabled work environment to promote positive employee morale
• Manage staff cost of AED 600MM for approximately 2000 staff across the Group
• Lead the HR operations unit to deliver the planned outcomes and agreed targets in line with the HR Strategic goals and business/employee experience standards
• Partner and advise the Management Team on HR trends that affect the business and provide solutions/recommendations to improve and develop new initiatives, and develop informal/formal approaches to monitor the “pulse" of the workforce to identify any barriers to employee engagement
• Manage Employee Relations activities including grievances, disciplinary, staff events and any issues relevant to staff relations and engagement, and provide advice, guidance, and support to managers and staff in order to effectively manage issues of discipline and grievances
• Direct and align HR Service Delivery function in accordance with overall strategic direction of the Group and in line with HR strategy for providing overall HR support to the businesses
• Manage implementation and maintenance of the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) to ensure standardization and consolidation of HR business processes across the Group
• Lead the PRO function ensuring all services related to Government regulations and approvals are in place for the Bank
• Oversee Rewards, Talent Management/Performance Management and Talent Acquisition function as advisory to Head of HR
- Responsible for developing and implementing an appropriate reward strategy that supports strategic objectives
- Provide professional advice and guidance to stakeholders on reward issues
- Evaluate job positions and participate in salary surveys
- Perform market intelligence and data gathering among banking/financial competitors
- Manage remuneration reviews including market compensation reviews
- Develop appropriate variable compensation programs such as bonus/incentive/retention etc.
- Review and propose salary offers for new hires
- Support in developing HR strategy proposals
- Plan and monitor staff cost budget
Joined Noor Islamic Bank as Senior Relationship Manager - HR, steered Takaful, Investment Banking and Group Finance. Moved to Noor Takaful as Head of HR, leading a team of 2 personnel, reporting to the CEO and responsible for establishing HR and Administration Dept. for both Noor Takaful Family and Noor Takaful General.
• Ensuring that HR functions contributes to the development & implementation of strategy in coordination with the CEO and various Business / Function Heads and Group HR.

Provide HR guidance and generalist support to business/support functions on HR issues of resourcing, developing & managing staff through liaison with Head of HR/Regional HR Relationship Managers
Handle evaluation of pay structure and benefit plans of the Bank ensuring market matched compensation system are in place
Critical role on issues of industrial relations, collective bargaining and employee relations
Key role in the HR integration of Standard Chartered Bank & Standard Chartered Grindlays Bank
Assist Head of HR to the initiatives of the country HR, manpower planning and budgeting as well as maintaining standard practices of the group.
Assist Management in policy matters, interpret & evaluate HR policies of the Group.
Act for Head of HR in his absence
Handle recruitment process of factory staff/workers
Assist General Manager, HR in developing/introducing various employee benefit schemes
