• Ensure that the store has the highest possible service level to customers and
optimize the stock levels at lowest possible cost.
• Ensure that all working methods described in IKEA Logistics manuals are
implemented and that the store achieves high efficiency in goods movement
(number of M3 per worked hour).
• Manage and coordinate your sales leaders and coworkers that work with tasks
associated with all movement of goods inside the store.
• Ensure that all coworkers that operate any type of machinery, especially forklift
trucks, are properly trained and licensed, if applicable, to prevent anywork-related
accidents.
• Allocate and build sales spaces in self-serve warehouse and full serve warehouse
that will enable direct flow and low handling costs.
• Follow up with the transporters and report any delayed shipment.
• Ensure that the stock received or dispatched, and the stock replenished are
accurately registered in Navision.
• Ensure all shortages, excess or damages are properly claimed and registered in the
system.
• Increase the efficiency of the warehousing and replenishment tasks within the
store
• Act as a super-user for the IT systems used for goods movement in the store,
include defining requirements, writing change requests, supporting the IT team
with updates, and acting as an intermediary between the end-users and IT.
• Adhere to inventory control procedures.

• Act as the liaison to Sales Leaders in S.O. for active competition monitoring
through teams and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Coach shopkeepers on commercial opportunities; changing availability of products
(overstock and out of stock) and customer feedback.
• Analyze businesses and devise detailed actions plans for the Store Sales
Management that are followed up regularly and aligned with the overall goals of the
unit.
• Actively coach the shopkeepers to ensure the shop is in excellent shape as new and
fully and efficiently stocked and that the IKEA product range is presented in ways
that inspire and satisfy customers.
• Support the shopkeeper by sharing proven solutions and developing good
examples.
• Demonstrating a strong understanding of retailing in an omni-channel
environment to help the team to understand the different IKEA sales and
communication channels and IKEA know-how to make the best commercial use of
this information for different customers across the various channels during their in
store experience.
• Working actively with the One Business Calendar to support Shopkeepers in
selling top-selling products, prioritized products and IKEA service products in order
to maximize sales and long-term profitability.

• Ensure that the Logistics Department team works in compliance with the
Companys Code of Conduct, internal regulations and local legislation relating to
health, safety and security and the environment.
• Secure the highest possible goods availability considering country positioning
campaigns, the commercial calendar and local store activities.
• Create and constantly improve excellent availability, range management and
forecasting at the lowest possible costs.
• Maximize successful replenishment by driving the actions of forecasting and
ordering.
• Work actively on the range change process, by providing information regarding
sales space parameters, expected sales starts, quantity and remaining outgoing
quantities.
• Analyzing stock discrepancies as part of the inventory management process.
• Accountable for that operational forecasting in the store is in line with the
available capacities.
• Give input to Sales & Supply Support SO regarding any deviations from agreed
replenishment methods (e.g. Lead Time), suppliers, DC, and transport performance
as a base for action.

• Accountable for achieving all operational KPIs relevant for the department.
• Supervise, direct and coordinate the day-to-day operations, activities and co
workers of the business area.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following waste management guidelines.
• Maintain the business area in shape as new, ensuring business area presentation
standards are achieved and maintained.
