Responsible for implementation of quality control procedure and lab
testing procedure.
* Collect and analyze water and wastewater samples for wet chemical
determination of PH, TDS, EC, DO and alkalinity, Analyzing - TN, TP,
TKN, Ammonia, Nitrate, Nitrite, COD, BOD, TSS, MLSS, SV, TS, VSS, VS,
SVI, OUR, and Microbiology.
➢ calibration of laboratory instruments and glass wares
➢ Maintain up to date knowledge of the plant running conditions and
chemical dosing maintain appropriate records of plant activities.
➢ Preparation of stock solutions and standardization.
➢ Handling and storage all chemicals as per the Material Safety Data Sheet
(MSDS)
➢ Operation of equipment like pH / EC / TDS meters, UV-visible
spectrophotometers, ovens, furnaces, incubators, digesters
➢ Possesses the ability to use computer applications for maintenanceof
Laboratory data from facilities
➢ General maintenance, cleaning and checking of equipment
➢ Preparing laboratory Monthly reports and send to plant manager on- time
➢ Upkeep of daily analysis results and ensures that the results are accurate and
submitted on-time.
➢ Prepare reports and appropriate recommendations to help assess
progress and take appropriate action.
➢ Ensure availability of bulk chemicals and fine chemicals, glassware and
other requirements
➢ Conducting internal lab toolbox meeting and guide the implementation of work
safetyprocedure and practice, Weakly checking laboratory housekeeping
➢ Support the process Engineers on process evaluation and testing liaise with and
manage sampling and analysis undertaken by third party laboratories.
➢ Preparing COC documents and compositing samples for sending external
laboratories.
➢ Providing coverage for other lab supervisors in their absence as needed.
➢ Supervise and give instructions and assignments to assigned employees
➢ Coordinating with the other technicians in the team to carry out work as per
the planning schedule.
