• Responsible for the establishment and deployment of a risk based Business Unit Audit Programme.
• Management of the Business Unit 3rd Party Accreditations against ISO 9001 and AS/EN 9110.
• Leading the Business Unit Compliance Assurance activities and escalating findings and provide periodical reports to the Management Board and other relevant forum.
• Responsible for maintaining records of the Business Unit audit findings and providing data analysis to reduce risks and improve the overall effectiveness of the management systems.
• Responsible for developing the capabilities of the Quality Assurance and Audit communities within the Business Unit.
• Form 4 Holder for Safety and Quality.
• Responsible for the management and maintenance of the PDM Quality Management System and continued registration to BS EN 9001 and BS EN 9110, in addition to maintaining M&CA approval as an Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO).
• Responsible for establishing an independent Quality Assurance system and a Quality Audit programme to ensure compliance with the requirements, regulations and maintenance procedures.
• Establishing an effective Safety Management System to ensure the safety of products, staff, and other persons, impacted by PDM maintenance activities.
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining an Error Management system for reporting and analysing errors and near misses.
• Approval of personnel, as required, for specific PDM activities & the authorisation of Approved Signatories.
• Effective management of Human and Material resources for all PDM Quality, SHE & Safety activities.
• Co-ordinating training and authorisation of personnel concerning Safety & Quality throughout PDM.
• Act as single point of contact for all Quality related matters including Customer Complaints, Flight Incident Reporting (FIR), post incident investigation and conducting of investigations.
• Responsible for Certificates of Completion, which also includes the overall Clearance of Aircraft for Flight and Delivery.
• Play a major role with the implementation and monitoring of the TPDMU Quality Management System.
• Lead the QA Audit team and co-ordinate planning and implementation of the annual Quality audit plan to ensure adherence to BS EN 9110/AQAP 2110 Standards, M&CA Mandates, operational policies and procedures
• Management of all aspects of Customer Satisfaction, taking appropriate corrective action as necessary including liaison with the Customer as part of the Customer Satisfaction review.
• Management of Non Conformances using Root Cause Analysis to eliminate problems and improve the Quality Management System.
• Reviewing data generated by Quality Assurance activities to ensure Continual Improvement.
• Reviewing completed aircraft documentation including Modifications and Special Inspections to ensure the integrity of the aircraft is maintained.
• Provide Technical information in support of programme activities and to maintain formal Technical Query and answering service with In Service Support Engineering Team (BAE Systems, Warton) and with Aeronautical Engineering Squadron (KAAB, Dhahran).
• Perform Quality Investigation to determine the pertinent facts and circumstances related to an event, identify root cause and formulate a particular preventive actions.
• Carry out internal audits to check the conformity against TPDMU QMS and the requirements of AS9110/AQAP 2110 and to identify area for improvement.
• Quality Control inspection and certification within the scope of authority.
• Assurance of aircraft airworthiness by maintaining the quality of on aircraft activities and documentation.
• Maintain technical quality and airworthiness of the Aircraft by assuring individual inspection standards meet the requirements of RSAF approved technical publications and TPDMU Quality Management System.
• Assist with the program to check the work environment housekeeping, cleanliness and FOD control.
• Conduct and assist with investigation of Incident, Quality Engineering, Loose articles, defect, and Observation reports.
