Responsible for defining Security & safety standards and procedures.

Industrial Security and Safety (National Water Company NWC - H.O, RUH)

• Working under Shared Services that take care of all Company services e.g. Human
Capital, Supply Chain, Facilities Maintenance and Operations, and Safety & Physical
Security.
• Set the department’s strategic objectives and operational plans, and ensure the
cascading of such to employees’ individual objectives.
• Direct the department’s budgeting process and provide the function head with the
department’s budget forecast. Monitor performance against budget and address
variances.
• Develop strategies, policies, procedures, standards and performance measures
related to HSS operations in alignment with NWC strategy considering the regulations
changes.
• Manage the existence of all security resources, instructions, equipment and tools in
all MWC facilities to ensure safety and to prevent any intrusions.
• Oversee executing safety policies, procedures and instructions and maintain the
updates of any related regulations to minimize work related accidents.
• Lead all fire prevention procedures, design evacuation plans and liaise with local fire
departments to ensure efficient fire fighting action.
• Lead compliance of occupational health standards and regulations and any other
applied compliance and regulations by NWC.
• Monitor, review and maintain incidents and injuries reports, analyse these reports
and utilize the results for developing corrective and preventions actions.
• Lead the identification of the training needs within NWC related to HSS specific
knowledge, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address these gaps.
• NWC as Single Point of Contact with the all external authoroties in terms of all HSS
events, activites etc.
• Coordinate to conduct regular meetings for all HSS departments to discuss and
share updates.
• Guide department heads and provide them with the necessary steer to ensure the
achievement of their strategic objectives.
• Actively manage talent management programs in own function to maximize
employee performance and development.
• Identify human resources requirements and develop the business case for hiring,
levels of rewards, and promotions for function employees.

• Leading the physical security for the Bank employees and assets through developing contingency plans and manag- ing qualified staff & resources that apply and comply to International standards, Ministry of Interior and SAMA regulations and in accordance to acceptable banks’ risk mediation standards.

• Managing the Security of all Plants premises controlling the access, exit and protecting the surroundings of the fence from outside risks. Also, controlling all premises with cameras and screening.
• Developing the fire networks covering the inspection and readiness.
Reporting to the Vice President of Business Unit - Jeddah;
• Managing Industrial Security activities (Safety, Fire & Security) to carryout department objectives and providing all required support to the Company.
• Planning, directing, implementing and monitoring company Safety, Security, and Fire Programs to follows all the necessary recommendations and feedback management to assure compliance to Saudi Laws, Rules and Policies.
• Providing the regular ISD reports to the Executive.
• Budget preparation for the departments to determine the department requirements&plan.

• Managing a team in 3 plants in Jeddah and Riyadh providing Consultancy services, sales and administrative Support; • Performance management of team to ensure delivery of company targets and key targets including:
Change management, performance review (reporting and investigating Safety, Incidents, target setting, business and personnel objective setting, Purchase Requests, team support, and leadership;
• Ensures that company management is kept fully informed on all Government Regulations and Instructions affecting the company’s business and objectives and employees’ interest;
• Identifying, recommending, and delivering suitable training needs and consultants in ISE areas for employees and then creating 35 Location Safety Coordinators representing all departments.
2005
Reporting to the General Manager of Industrial Security & Environment Department - HQ Riyadh;
• Analyzing, reporting and investigating Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Incidents.
• Updating top management with weekly, monthly and annually SHE reports, KPI’s, department objectives and
programs.
• Coordinating, facilitating and developing SHE standards, guidelines, policies, Risk audits and awareness for all
affiliates complying with High Commission of Industrial Security (HCIS) in Minister of Interior.
• Preparing, coordinating and reviewing the Budget of the department in SAP.
Reporting to the Group Risk & Safety Manager in Riyadh - HQ;
• Led 94 qualified Location Safety Co-coordinators in different divisions (Farming, Operations, and Sales),
helping managers to lead sustainable change in the way health and safety is managed.
• Established ‘The Health & Safety Monitor’, a simple but imaginative approach to target setting and performance review incorporating reactive and proactive measures.
• Led Safety Audits (conducting, reporting, and following up the action plans) for all divisions between 2003 - 2005. • Provided consultancy, training for Safety e.g. Risk Assessment, Permit to Work etc.
