- STRATEGY & RESEARCH - Spearheaded Hawkamah’s engagement drive with regional governments, regulators and companies. Conducted Environmental, Social & Governance benchmarking analysis on 600 listed companies in the Middle East and North Africa Region. Processed and analyzed outcomes of the Task Force on Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions and assisted in developing the Policy Brief on Corporate Governance for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions in the Middle East and North Africa Region. Conducted Interviews and developed the Research Report: UAE Women Directors’ Careers, Board Experiences and Recommendations for Change alongside the Cranfield International Centre for Women Leaders published in October 2013. Conceptualized and managed Hawkamah’s conferences which were attended by senior executives, government officials including ministers and central bank governors from the Middle East and North Africa Region. This included the event management, marketing as well as VIP relations. Restructured, re-‐launched and managed the Hawkamah Bank Corporate Governance Awards, recognized as the leading source of corporate governance benchmarking for Banks in the Middle East and North Africa Region. - LEADERSHIP - Completed the Director Development Programme to identify key points for tailoring it to the region, a programme accredited by the International Finance Corporation; part of the World Bank Group, details found on: http://mudara.org/professional-development/overview/. Reviewed and identified members to be recommended to company boards through the Mudara IOD Board Appointment Service. - MARKETING & COMMUNICATION - Responsible for all branding and communications of both institutes.
