As part of the extended senior Management team of the country office, I achieved following results:
Strategic Planning
• Developed Save the Children's Country Strategic Plan 2012-2015 and Country Annual Plan 2012 & 2013 for Pakistan;
• Provided leadership for setting organization's vision, mission and values for 2015 and thematic and geographic focus;
• Organized participatory workshops and developed sectoral country program strategies 2012-2015;
Proposal Development
• Closely worked with sectoral teams and developed winning proposals of worth USD 80 Million for USAID, AUSAID, EC, CIDA, UNHCR, UN Women, SIDA and several other bilateral and multilateral donors.
• Ensured oversight and coordination of the development, writing and packaging of grant proposals from concept through award.
• Acted as an interface between the in country Programme and Grants departments.
• Exploited innovative models for growth

Partnerships & Institutional Strengthening
• Developed and implemented partnership strategy of the organization including engagement, management and costing of partnership activities;
• Provided leadership for building partnerships with relevant Ministries, Government Institutions and Private sector organizations;
• Developed capacities of sectoral program teams and partners;
• Set up national, provincial and district project monitoring and advocacy;
• Closely worked with advocacy department for implementing SRHR Advocacy strategy in Pakistan;
• Developed and implemented organization's resource mobilization strategy 2011
Project Management
• Managed European Union funded project of EUR 800000 titled 'Rights-driven institutionalization of SRH in Pakistan 2009-2011'
• Managed Packard Foundation Project of USD 500000, titled 'Empowering Girls -Transforming Communities'
• Supported environment conservation teams in conceptualizing community awareness initiatives
• Provided support in organizing several community awareness workshops promoted back yard poultry farming, backyard gardening, protecting animals;
• Provided TA to five community members in successfully implementing their learning;
• Supported in organizing a national level water conservation conference in Sydney;
• Participated in fundraising initiatives for the ACF

Project Management
• Managed European Union funded project of EUR 800000 titled 'Rights-driven institutionalization of SRH in Pakistan 2009-2011'
• Managed Packard Foundation Project of USD 500000, titled 'Empowering Girls -Transforming Communities'
• Developed all periodical narrative reports for multi / bilateral donors;
Research & Institutional Strengthening
• Conducted various research studies on relevant social issues including pioneer national level study of assessing the status of sexual and reproductive health and rights of young people in Pakistan;
• Developed and implemented communication strategy for rights- based programming
• Developed and implemented Resource Mobilization strategy of the organization;
• Secured funding of USD 1.5 Million for the organization;
• Wrote successful project proposals for the World Bank, European Union (EU), MOFA-The Netherlands, David & Lucile Packard Foundation
• Developed and implemented performance based management framework- WBS Monitoring system.
• Led a field operation of 150 staff, of worth USD 3 Million
• Implemented Oxfam (Novib) funded Integrated Community Development and Empowerment Project - (2004-2008) in 200 villages of District Multan, D G Khan, Muzaffargarh and Rajanpur;
• Implemented Plan Pakistan funded Integrated Primary Healthcare Project (2004-2007) in 30 villages of District Vehari;
• Implemented EU funded Women Rights and Emancipation Project (2004-2007)in five districts of South Punjab;
• Implemented WPF funded Life Skills Based Education Project (2006) in 200 public schools of District Multan;
• Developed community mobilization strategy of the organization;
• Established 200 village development committees and south Punjab based advocacy network of 53 Peoples’ Awareness and Rights Committees (PARCs).
• Led the development of Organizations’ long term strategic plan 2007-2018
• Implemented CARE International Funded relief program in District Mansehra KPK- Reached 5000 earthquake affected population through food aid and shelter
• Implemented WFP funded food aid program in 50 highly affected villages of Balakot
• Developed and published 20 case studies, and documented lessons learned, resulted in effective rehabilitation phase of the emergency relief program
• Facilitated community management and leadership management skills trainings for 500 community volunteers under EU funded, UNDP led capacity building project.
• Developed several winning proposals on the theme of health, education, food security, rural livelihoods, community mobilization and development
• Conceptualized and conducted a research study titled ‘Customs and practices regarding women’s right of inheritance in South Punjab’
• Conceptualized and conducted a research study titled ‘Extent and dynamics of ‘Punchayat’ system in Pakistan’
• Conceptualized and conducted a research study titled ‘State of water purification plants & supply of clean drinking water to urban and semi-urban communities in District Multan’
• Conceptualized and conducted a research study titled ‘Livelihood patterns and gender issues attribute to it among tribal communities of PATA Area Punjab’
• Research advisor for a study focused on girls’ dropouts from schools due to early age marriages
An extensive interdisciplinary program, which helped me to learn modern social uplift strategies in the least-developed settings and understand the link between population, poverty and environment.
An extensive two years program, which built my cost and financial management capacity, which is very useful for effective project design / planning and management
An extensive four years program which enhanced my knowledge about micro and macro economics, development economics, agricultural economics, econometrics, rural sociology, food security and livelihoods improvement strategies
