Responsible for managing facilities and operations for 5 data centers including cloud, co-location, and managed hosting facilities with a team of 15 engineers and technicians. Defined MOP, SOP, developed hands-on training to staff members. Developed and implemented switching process and Emergency Contingency Plans. Hired and mentored engineers and technicians, organized team development process and Leadership training for staff.
Formulated clear decision criteria and evaluated options for effective planning of Maintenance Sequence, and Customer/partner coordination. Develop team awareness about Customer Business needs.
Performed space provisioning, rack layouts, rack installations based on earthquake seismic bracing, power provisioning, power wipe basket layout under the floor, and balancing the floor by cold and hot aisle based on rack density.
