Day by day supervisions and involvement with laboratory personnel’s for the follow up and monitoring of their task performance commitments, compilations and adherences of laboratory policies and procedures.
 Actively participating in Internal and External quality control system, reviewing of IQC and EQC results, evaluating preventive and corrective actions if any deviational occurrence in the bench mark to maintain the quality assurance of the each evaluations.
 Performing laboratory stocks in allocated budget and maintain its availability all the time, performing lot to lot verification whenever it’s required.
 Laboratory Staff’s competency evaluation and taking primitive actions to acquire their complete understanding knowledge of workflow and importance of each patient’s report with the emergency and need of further treatment.
 Training and understanding the need of the staff to improve their performance towards the requested tasks received regularly by the service and ensuring the whole operational team maintaining quality management workflow system.
 Providing hands on support to the testing personnel in the performance of all operational clinical requested tests and ensuring operational team follows quality management systems.
 Assigning the staff duty rotation as per the requirement.
 Analyzing the pre-analytical, analytical and post analytical steps of the workflow to maintain the accuracy of the analysis, reviewing of results with requested specification and commends.
 Preparing and reviewing of clinical laboratory process, technical and quality management SOPs and periodically assessments, Evaluating QC records, Lab KPI, measurement of uncertainty, preventive and daily maintenance, functional check and calibration records of the lab instruments.
 Maintaining the sterility of the laboratory, performance cross contamination and monitoring laboratory cleaning environment, biosafety of the processed samples and proper waste disposable method.
 Performing instruments validation to understanding and establishing its limit of detections, reportable ranges, analytical sensitivity and specificity of the performance.
 Evaluating and validating the new tests methods in the premises and making easily accessible availability by all the laboratory personnel.
 Providing instructions on Laboratory General Safety, Personnel and practical Safety, Precautions and awareness about cross Infections and control.

Working as a Clinical laboratory in charge

 Clinical chemistry - chemically analyzing blood and other body fluids.

 Hematology - studying blood cells and their formation in health and disease, and investigating coagulation factors and disorders.

 Plans, manages and supervises the activities of a centralized laboratory and performs standard biological, microbiological and chemical tests in all areas of medical laboratory to assure their delivery in an accurate and timely fashion using proper safety precautions.

 Performs chemical, microscopic and bacteriologic tests to provide data for use in treatment and diagnosis of disease.

 Receives specimens from lab or obtains specimens directly from patient and makes quantitative and qualitative chemical analyses.

 Cultivates isolates and identifies pathogenic bacteria, parasites and other micro-organisms.

 Prepares stains, reagents, media and solutions necessary for the performance of all laboratory tests.

 Performs microscopic and cultural examinations on milk, water, food, feces, nose, throat, and wound, blood specimens(BACTEC 9050) and other body fluids for bacteriological studies.

 Performs approved serological tests.

 Performs PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction), Western Blot, CD4 Count for OI Patients.

 Tests new and improved laboratory methods and procedures. Prepares laboratory notes, charts and graphs and writes up results of examinations. Keeps accurate daily records. Performs related duties as requested.

 Trains or supervises training of other lab staff.

 Participates in planning services for other divisions within the facility.

 Evaluates quality control and quality assurance statistics and modifies manuals as needed.

 Develops a budget for the laboratory and maintains control of lab costs.

 Enforces safety procedures and consults with other supervisors about these issues.

 Consults with state lab staff about local problems and interaction.
