Human Resources Manager, Reporting to the Managing Director, overall responsibility for managing HR & Administration activities, supporting 6 business units (Subsidiaries) with 500 employees across GCC & US. Accountable to set and administer a $9.5 million HR, Payroll and administration budget.
• Promotes and implements human resource values by planning and managing human resources programs with the right balance of staff in terms of skills and experience, and that training and development opportunities are available to employees to enhance their performance directing employees in order to achieve the organization’s objectives.
• Develops, advises on and implements policies relating to the effective use of personnel within the organization.
• Identify and evaluate business goals to establish appropriate achievement/ targets that meet company goals for the KRAs/ KPIs set.
• Manage the annual recruitment & staffing plan with the HR office along with line manager to effectively handle the resource requirement for the company based on the goals and targets set by the management;
• Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization; handling supporting social activities/ events on employee recognitions/ entertainment etc.
• Oversee Performance reviews/ appraisal, evaluate the procedure, review the gaps and analyze training needs with the L&D
• Handle and manage the change management within the company in liaison with top management to meet organization development;
• Compensation and benefits administration on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits;
• Initiating the process and analyze the training need in conjunction with departmental managers in terms of Budget approval and type of training design.
• Develops, updates, and maintains personnel policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management. Initiating the process with proposal of policies and sending for approval;
• Administer/ Develop HR planning strategies with line managers, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements in terms of numbers and skill levels as per the career path & succession planning with L&D;
• Interpreting and advising on employment legislation to reflect in the policies & procedures of HR;
• Drafting, analyzing and conclusions for Monthly Reports preparation and initiating process for recommendations and associated changes.
• Formulate current and long-range programs, plans, and policies for departmental programs. Supervises the revision of rules, regulations, and procedures to meet changes in law and policy.
• Represents management before employee groups, legislative committees, administrative bodies, and officials of other levels of government, and professional organizations.
• Plans, directs and manages staff engaged in administrative support activities of the Department's mission by analyzing, improving, and operating management, administrative, and financial systems and controls.
• Reviews and oversees contracts, agreements, and/or leases to ensure service is in compliance with the contract and to verify accuracy of figures.
