Project : Plant Maintenance
Activities and responsibilities Handling:
•Develop all the required documentation, operational checks and reports for the HSE Management System to be compliant with Standards, including corrective and preventive measures.
•Conduct pre-operational risk assessments on the Contract Scope of Work including every activity within the project and design risk mitigation measures.
•Provide HSE improvement proposals stating: the non-conformance, proposed corrective action, required resources for corrective action and plan of implementation.
•Investigate the root cause HSE complaints put forward by staff members, customers, the clients and other contractors and report the result to the Safety Manager.
•Follow up to ensure that corrective actions are implemented where necessary and ensures that any certification requirements are complied with.
•Audit work being performed with HSE Work Permits.
•Assist with the implementation of Job Safety Analysis and inspect job site activities during particularly difficult or hazardous work situations.
•Coordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents and near misses.
•Review and analyze accidents and near miss incidents and making corrective action recommendations.
• Maintains records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements.
•Supervise the regular inspection of firefighting, safety and emergency response equipment.
•Assist in developing and implementing field location emergency response procedures and evacuation plans.
•Ensure that contractor employees and site visitors receive HSE inductions before entering work site.
•Responsible for preparing written weekly and monthly HSE reports, statistics and presentations related to HSE performance.
•Ensure that First Aid Facilities are present and located on site, and maintained performance
•Review and approve the contractors submission of risk assessment, job safety analysis and work permits
Activities and responsibilities Handled:
Understand and Implement company HSE policy and HSE Management System (HSEMS)
Day to day monitoring, inspecting & ensuring safe area, equipment & work activities at site through inspections, Walkthroughs, permit to work follow ups and audits.
Site inductions and HSE training of employees and subcontractors.
Developing safety posters, signs, slogans, bulletins, publications, etc. and distributing.
Scaffolding safe procedure and international standard, avoid falls from heights.
Inspection of workshops, Laydown area to fulfil Health and safety requirements.
Inspection and maintenance of fire fighting equipment and PPE.
Ensure that the pending HSE actions are closed out effectively.
Khuff Gas Well Project
Activities and responsibilities Handled:
•Assist Management in developing and implementing their HSE plans and advise on operational safety matters related to the works.
•Co-ordinate and conduct inspections/audits of facilities and activities to ensure compliance to safe and good work practices in accordance to statutory requirement of the SAUDI ARAMCO
•Conducting Toolbox Meeting daily and encourage employees involvement in all safety rules and regulations
•Checking all right Personal Protective Equipment in particular job assignment in compliance with correct safety standards
•Monitoring critical activities that requires Permit to Work such as Confined space, Excavation, Hot Works and Working at height
•Identifying all hazards and implement good housekeeping
•Maintaining and continuously improve security to ensure the safety of the employee and company property

Activities and responsibilities Handled:
•Provide support to the department on the implementation of Company-wide HSE initiatives of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, etc.
•Conducting of Emergency evacuation drills to check emergency prepare the work force and effectiveness of the system.
•Develop, implement and review of procedures and systems designed to facilitate safe work at site premises.
•Establish health & safety orientation & training plan for all work place personnel.
•Ensure safety promotion & awareness at work place
•Monitor work site in order to ensure construction safety plan is being followed by workers and issuing non-compliance reports where necessary.
•Ensure all safety and health Rules, regulations, policies and procedures are understood and observed by all project personnel
Civil construction
Activities and responsibilities Handled:
•Supported Project management in achieving HSE goals as set further projects.
•Conducted regular safety audits and inspection of facilities, worksite, equipment, work practices, and safety devices and ensured compliance with required workplace safety standards, regulations and company policies.
•Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and developed measures that assures personal safety.
•Advised on a range of specialist areas such as fire regulations, hazardous substances, confined spaces, noise, safeguarding machinery Etc
