Procurement Officer Duties:
• Negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring the
quality of products and services provided.
• Prepare purchase orders
• Process payments and invoices.
• Keep contract files and use them as reference for the
future.
• Forecast price trends and their impact on future
activities.
• Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other
information to determine reasonable prices.
• Expedites outstanding purchase orders to ensure
delivery requirements are met.
• Coordinates and resolves problems with end users
and suppliers.
• Cooperation with suppliers for pricing, delivery
dates.
• Improve procedures related to customs clearance,
re-export of goods, transport, and control of sourced
goods, and ensure correct storage facilities and
procedures.
Warehouse management Duties:
• Responsible for the receipt, storage, onward
transportation, accounting, and reporting of
commodities.
• Ensure all items are documented and in good quality.
• Make random checks of commodities to confirm
quantity and quality.
• Maintain all warehouse equipment and ensure full
security of the premises.
Logistics/Operation Specialist Duties:
• Organize all shipments in line with company
requirements.
• Prepare and verify import/export documentation
such as Bills of lading, Commercial invoices, COOs,
packing lists and certifications related to chemicals &
fertilizers and toys with accordance to the customer
and/or LCs requirements.
• Timely preparation of import documentation and
authorization for all air and sea shipments globally.
• Prepare and maintaining a delivery schedule and
communicating to all relevant customers and
suppliers.
• Deliver against Company KPIs.
• Verification of all freight invoices.
• Maintenance of data requirements and ensuring
integrity at all times.
• Maintenance of records.
• Continual review of shipping dates and reporting
exceptions.
• Review the ‘value’ offered by existing suppliers,
ensuring purchasing remains globally competitive.
• Assisting with the re-negotiating of terms of
business/service level agreements and performance
evaluation and taking corrective action as required.
General:
• Develop and implement appropriate procedures,
specifications, and SOPs.
• Data collection, data analysis and reporting to
inform supply planning.
• Financial controlling, budget review.
• Collaborate with authorities, Interact with
agricultural vendors, clients, and government
organizations.
• Any other reasonable duties which may be required
by management from time to time.
