• Implementation and developing of environmental deliverables as project scope of work.
• Obtain environmental permits related from local regulatory authorities and Ministry of Environment (MoE).
• Liaise with Government Authorities, Client, PMC, GEC and sub-contractor representatives for successful implementation of Environmental procedures.

• Coordinate with site construction team on compliance matters related to environmental management.
• Ensure site environmental monitoring programs are compiled as specified in the CEMP.
• Preparation of Monthly Environmental monitoring program.
• Monitor and comply with Ashghal Environment and Sustainability KPI requirements.
• Identification of waste streams arising from project sites / offices and implement waste management program.
• Monitor implementation of Waste minimization program and assist site teams to achieve target recycling percentage/ deviation rate.
• Report monthly waste generation and recycling quantities to corporate office.
• Develop and maintain inventory of chemicals used site and provide personnel with information on safe storage, handling and Use for contractor and sub-contractor.
• Preparing and publishing of HSE Alerts for best practices, unsafe practices, lessons learnt and investigation findings following accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Issuing violation notices, site enforcement notices, NCR, corrective action plan for non-compliance and ensuring closure as per the stipulated time period.
• Conduct incident and accident investigations, monitoring and review of control measures considered & implemented to ensure non-recurrence or level of risk has been minimized.
• Create, customize and develop Environmental trainings for contractor and Sub-contractor personnel.
• Monitor recording, documentation and updating of Environmental records.
• Monitoring logging of daily energy account, water, wastewater and waste account.
• Conduct Weekly HSE meetings with contractor and Sub-contractor Project Managers, Engineers to ensure legal and project compliance.

• Develop and implement EHS objectives and targets in line with Company HSEQ Strategy.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as liaison with Regulatory Authorities, Etihad Rail PMC and sub-contractor officials on issues pertaining to successful implementation of HSE regulations, best practices & deviations.
