- Started in Position Shipping Operation Supervisor, for hopper dredger owned by Dutch dredging B.V. in Idku Port, dredging for Egyptian Liquid Natural Gas Company (ELNG).
- Superintended & Shipping Operation Supervisor boarding 2 dredgers and 2 split barges (Cutter Suction Dredger, Dipper Dredger & 2 Split barges) owned by Boskalis B.V. in Sukhna port (DP World) dredging for Ammonia gas terminal & Electricity Power Planet Co. during the Periods From 09/2007 to 09/2008 & From 06/2010 to 03/2012, my responsibility for all shipping agency activities (Vessels boarding, Crew change, Berthing/departure formalities, renewal of ship’s certificate, Spare parts importation/exportation, bunkering, supplies/provisions and garbage/Sludge disposal).

- Handling a full range of operation duties, including claims (insurance & demurrage / charter party problems), instructions to vessels, bunkering, scheduling, appointment of agents and management of a team of 5 people, with responsibility for hiring my own staff.
- The department is responsible for a fleet of 1 roro vessel 2 dredgers, 7 bulk carriers (20-45000 dwt)
- Track company ships in Egyptian ports- Communicate with agents, owners & shippers- Prepare/Provide necessary documents to custom & port- Post fixture operations such as lay time calculations, etc.-
- Handle voyage performance evaluations- Record all data properly- Handle all filing activity
- Preparing vessels proforma disbursement accounts (PDA), Cost calculation, berthing/departure formalities, Stowage Plan, Cargo Manifest, & Bills of lading.
- Plan, Organize and Manage day to day operations to ensure achievement of stevedoring plans in an effective, safe and timely manner.
- Ensure all operational reports are sent to concern on a timely manner.
Referred to as unflappable in my last annual appraisal and received a performance bonus based upon my department’s cost savings. Improvement in debtor days and vessel turnaround times.
Supervise operation for vessels calling all Egyptian Ports (Port Said Port, Damietta Port, Dekheila & Alexandria Ports).
- Boarding for vessels calling Alexandria & Dekheila ports.
