•Crafted managed services solution and commercial model for Capgemini SMNO solution offerings
•Lead solution architect for smart grid/smart metering consulting solution for a client in Malaysia
•Principal solution architect for a large deal (over $30 mil USD) in Pittsburgh, USA for a Distribution Utility’s smart metering implementation program for 640K customers which involved transition from its current Automated Meter Reading (AMR) system to a new Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) system by 2020. Worked with the client during due-diligence phase and finalized a strategy roadmap & release plan for AMR to AMI migration.
•Managed setting up of AMI PoC in Capgemini Utilities CoE Calorie Lab with Powercom metering, Oracle MDM & SAP CIS solution
•Principal solution architect for a large deal (over $10 mil AUD) in Melbourne, Australia for a Distribution Utility’s legacy metering rationalization programme which involved rationalization of legacy customer and meter data management systems by extending the capabilities of existing AMI platform (SAP IS-U and Itron) and consolidating all meter and customer data.
•Principal solution architect for a large transformational deal in UK which included a multi-phased rationalization of existing systems of a Distribution Utility’s regulated business area covering business change, systems delivery and implementation of multiple solution modules e.g. connections & customer service, fault management, inspections & maintenance, asset management, capital programme (including business intelligence and support for regulatory reporting), HR, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain, Asset Modeling and integrating other systems.

Energy & Utilities
Responsible for the pre-sales, bid management activities & crafting large and complex solution in Utilities domain for deals (over $10 mil USD) in India & Global Markets creating enhanced value propositions for clients and generate new business.
•Providing solution services in Utilities business areas like Power, Gas & Water.
•Worked on opportunity qualification, solution creation, estimation, pricing, legal analysis, presentation and negotiation
•Managed OEMs and various solution partners for solution preparation, coordinated with multiple work streams within organization in parallel, integrating solution components and strategic preparation of pricing to make winning bids.
•Worked on smooth handover of project to delivery team after wining, helping the delivery team with solution understanding and final negotiation with the OEMs/solution partners for increasing the overall profitability of the project.

Accomplishments
•Managed the R-APRDP programme as a key solution player, helped in TCS qualifying as IT Consultant and IT Implementation Agency and led few wins worth USD 200M like WBSEDCL R-APDRP, MP Discom R-APDRP & GEB RAPDRP.

Responsible for Service Delivery & Project Management for Satellite based Communication System (VSAT Technology) in eastern part of India
•Installation & maintenance of VSAT network - TDM/TDMA, SCPC for various corporate clients
•Design, Setup & Operations of VSAT Hub (TDM/TDMA, SCPC)
•DirectPC VSAT Network Hub Setup and Operations - Configuring various network devices including router, portmaster, pad & ISBN network, integrating existing Gilat Network Hub with HNS Hub
•Network design of VSAT based Wide Area Networks for corporate data & voice communication, integration with various local area network devices, traffic analysis and fine-tuning for optimum utilization

Responsible for installation and maintenance of local area networks - Novel Netware, Arcnet/Ethernet, servers (hardware & operating systems-VMS, Unix, SCO Xenix), PCs, printers for various corporate clients
•System setup (Server & Network) for modernization of basic oxygen furnace plant: This involved setting up of LAN at Durgapur Steel Plant with FDDI & thick ethernet as a backbone comprising of MicroVAX 3100, MiraVAX 3800, VAXstation 4000/60, DECserver, transceivers, line drivers, terminals, etc.
