HSE and site safety officer working variously for:
Chevron, Shlumberger, Conoco Phillips, and OXY sites in Western Texas and
New Mexico.
• Infield work with drilling rigs, pulling units, flow back, Coil tubing, H2S
equipment installation, air jobs, as well as frac and plant constructions for:
Chevron, Shlumberger, Conoco Phillips, and OXY sites in Western Texas and
New Mexico.
• Implemented and gave feedback on safety programs and procedures at the
various site locations; conducted safety induction, awareness, and tool box
training for all employees; placed safety signs, boards, and posters.
• Inspected and approved all tools, tackle, and heavy equipment, ensuring
safety and compliance with standards prior to each job.
• Carried out accident, incident, and near miss investigations; made recommendations
to prevent future recurrence
• Took lead on carrying out safety drills, including firefighting simulations, as
needed.
• Conducted and provided counsel at safety committee meetings and monthly
management sit-downs
