Saif Ullah Khan - Professional Mechanical Engineer

• Responsible for leading and coordinating project teams formed to provide project management services to execute assigned Mechanical projects from inception to completion and handover.
• Prepare/Review & implement project plans such as Project Execution, Risk Management, Quality, HSE etc
• Manage and coordinate a team of multi-discipline Engineers to achieve safe and cost-effective results through timely resolution of technical and engineering issues.
• Participate in the preparation of tender packages, tendering process, evaluation of tenders, and submissions with appropriate recommendations to relevant tender Committees.
• Participate in the processing and resolution and Variations and Contractor claims.
• Participate in the review and evaluation of the Contractor's capabilities and financials
• Generate and maintain risk registers to ensure that risks are managed and mitigated.
• Interface closely with end users and other stakeholders including Government and Statutory authorities and other third-party entities such as JVs.
• Participate and provide input to support project schedule, project cost, budget, contract administration, progress reporting, change management and gate approval activities.
• Participate in the review and development of company procedures and guidelines as and when assigned.
• Provide advice and guidance in project planning, project execution, and/or project control
• Assist in resolving project management problems related to project planning deficiencies, project quality defects (in Engineering, Procurement, or Construction), schedule slippages, and potential cost overruns
• Work closely with all teams to identify portfolio risks and opportunities
• Formulate and implement strategies to improve project planning, cost, schedule, and/or quality
• Evaluate existing tools, methodologies, best practices, and technologies to enhance project planning/execution
• Lead internal or external problem-solving teams as directed by management
• Participate in teams responsible for the development/implementation of standards, guidelines, instructions, policies and procedures, surveys or other content on an as-required basis.

• Responsible for office and site works at Saudi Aramco Riyadh Refinery
• Coordination with the Saudi Aramco T&I, PMT & PID Divisions for different Inspection activities i.e. Above Ground Storage Tanks Inspections as per API 650, API 653, and SAES-D108.
• Coordination with the inspection team & production team of Samsung EPC for all the inspection-related activities for their Riyadh Clean Transportation of Fuel (RCTF) project at Riyadh Refinery.
• Preparation of Quality Manuals, Draft Packages, and Procedures as per the Saudi Aramco requirements for:
✓ Hydro Testing of API Tanks and Pipelines
✓ API Above Ground Storage Tank Construction
✓ API Aboveground Storage Tank Repairing
✓ Blasting & Painting
✓ Tank Cleaning
✓ Vacuum Box Testing (VBT) Procedure etc.
• Inspection of the welded joints, including Fit up Inspections and Final Welding Inspections, interpretation of the weld defects, and their comparison with the Acceptance criteria defined in API 650, 653 as well as ASME Section IX and Section V.
• Preparing all the required documents related to Welding such as daily weld Fit up Reports, Weld reports, Welder repair reports, weld maps etc.
• Inspection of the blast surface cleanliness, its profile creation (Anchor Pattern) as per the applicable standard, and the applied coating systems:
✓ APCS-1A
✓ APCS-D
✓ APCS-2A
✓ APCS-2H
✓ APCS-3
✓ APCS-11C etc
• Checking of Dry Film Thickness (DFT) of the applied coated system as per SSPC-PA2.
• Coordination with the inspection team from Saudi Aramco, mainly on Welding, Blasting, Critical and Non-Critical Coating, and NDT Processes.
• Conducting daily checks while performing Welding Operations, Blasting & Coating operations as per the guidelines of Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES)
• Preparing all the required documents & reports related to Blasting and Coating as per the guidelines of Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES).

• Took charge of leading a dedicated maintenance team comprising 02 Supervisors and 25 workers, ensuring smooth operations and efficient completion of tasks.
• Demonstrated expertise by successfully conducting comprehensive training sessions on the complete cement plant layout, covering all equipment and their respective functions.
• Oversaw and supervised both routine and non-routine mechanical operations in the cement mills area, ensuring adherence to maintenance schedules and quality standards.
• Played a pivotal role in the maintenance of various critical equipment, such as conveyor belts, bucket elevators, static separator, roller press, cyclones, Induced draft/forced draft fans, dynamic separator (o-sepa), and cement grinding ball mill.
• Strategically planned, directed, and managed key mechanical activities within the cement mill area, guaranteeing optimal performance and productivity.
• Developed meticulous plans and efficiently managed maintenance tasks for routine shutdowns or unexpected breakdowns, minimizing disruptions and maximizing uptime.
• Took charge of the consumables and spare parts inventory, implementing effective strategies to minimize downtime and optimize costs.
