- Lead role for all onboarding needs of the firm. This involved onboarding Local hires, expats and
remote joiners.
- Major role in organizing remote work arrangements for new hires - responsible for arranging IT logistics and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to onboard hires remotely across the locations.
- Communicating and liaising with the business and other stakeholders on any important information
with respect to onboarding.
- Liaising and organizing with different teams for first day new joiner inductions.
- Point of contact for new joiner(s) and responding to any onboarding queries.
- Liaising with Travel desk for onboarding expats.
- Close liaison with the Public and Immigration team for visa process.
- Any other administrative tasks related to onboarding.
- Attending weekly calls with the business on status update on onboarding / recruitment matters.
- Providing weekly status updates to Partners across business functions
- Preparation of reports as and when necessary.
- Support in launching an onboarding application for the firm to improve new hire experience.
- Supporting the L&D team in developing documents to improve new hire experience.
- Arranging technical interviews for candidates and facilitating the interview process till the candidate
is onboarded and following up on interview feedback / evaluation. This involved liaising with the recruitment agencies as well.
- Conducting HR interviews.
- Sending behavioral assessment(s) to candidates and creation of a summary based on the assessment report.
- Responsible for maintaining trackers for all candidates in the recruitment and onboarding pipeline.
- Support in developing recruitment SLA’s.
- Responsible for preparation of offer letters and employment contracts.
- Involved in careers fairs for universities in Qatar.
- HR Profile creation for all staffs across the firm to ensure it reflected their grade, department, nationality and reporting structure.
- Responsible for maintaining database of staffs.
- Flag any potential risks and concerns to the recruitment / hiring manager and suggest solutions
wherever necessary.
- Involved in supporting exit procedures for staff and attending and resolving any queries the leaving
staff may have.
- Involved in generalist HR activities like probation and issuing probation confirmation letters,
attending employment verification requests for ex-employees from external parties, generation of
service letters for current employees and ex-employees and other HR and administration tasks as requested.
o Experience working in a Shared services environment
o Screening of candidate profiles based on the JD across GDS India location.
o Sourcing of profiles from Taleo.
o Creation of candidate profiles in Taleo
o Liaise and schedule Face to Face/ Skype/Telephonic/ Teleconference interviews with the business
and candidates across India locations.
o Collecting and reviewing evaluation feedback.
o HRCC (Contact Centre Support) - answering, tracking, and resolving of queries received via mails,
chat and calls from employees and candidates.
o Maintaining of daily tracker.
o Knowledge of working with SOP.
o Works within TAT.
o KT for new joiner’s in the team.
o Co-ordination and collection of mandatory documents from the candidates as part of the new hire.
