Role:
Instituting & executing high level accounting strategies and overcoming complex business challenges using experience-backed judgment, strong work ethics and irreproachable integrity Collaborating with Clients, Vendors, Suppliers & Stakeholders while keeping them informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all requirements and deliverables Creating and sustaining a dynamic environment that fosters the development opportunities and motivates the high performance amongst the team members Managing reconciliation of accounts receivable trial balances with the general ledger control account Checking accounts payable to ensure completeness of recording liability in timely ensuring that accurate claims are filed with vendors and receivable collected on time Steering efforts in: o Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements and so on o Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances o Maintaining historical records. o Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance o Scheduling payments as per the cash flow Ensuring effective preparation of: o Analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports o Reimbursement Claims on a weekly basis o Commission for Sales Executives and Collection Officers o Invoices and Sales Orders o Payable Aging Report Maintained the Petty Cash float Administered and processed all Petty Cash transactions Conducting month end inventory for assuring accuracy in physical and system counts. Maintaining provisions for month end closing
