Manage all aspects of the business from strategy and operations to administration, customer service, and logistics.
▪ Supervise activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service (Store)
▪ Schedule and oversee the warehouse team to meet the demands of the Stores, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
▪ Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed
▪ Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
▪ Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice warehouse vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
▪ Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are understood and practised by the team at all times
▪ Ensure that any IT and automated systems are accurate and up to date
▪ Create policies and procedures for warehouse activities and ensure all systems meet the standards for accreditation in line with the quality systems
▪ Create and implement best practice warehousing principles, policies and processes
▪ Input and hold responsibility for Warehouse budgets

# Cost saving initiatives like optimizing staffs and changes in the operations and saved 1.2cr+/yr
# Initiative has been done to merge S&D to the warehouse to optimize time and manpower.
# Supervising the daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurances, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping and customer service.
# Follow up and close communications with suppliers to ensure the receipt of PM/RM for Export
# Customer service KPI has been set and achieved 100%. CFR also increased by proper setting KPI.
# Stock accuracy achieved to 99.9% by controls inventory levels by conducting physical count, reconcile etc.
# Ensure 100% service levels for Exports and ensure sufficient manpower according to the container arrival.
# Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the demands of the fulfilment centre, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
# Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met.
# Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions
# Maintains warehouse staffs by recruiting, selecting orienting and training employees.
# Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP MM
# Conduct unit tests, integration test and system.
# Update and maintain all SAP MM functional documentations
# Support the functional team with issues and provide a solutions-based approach.
# Facilitate the workshop to collect business requirements
# Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions
# Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
# Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
Proficient with the systems WMS 10.4, Oracle JDE and Roadnet Technologies

•Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
•Ensuring that all appropriate documentation is kept on file and available for inspection at all times
•Comprehensive knowledge of logistical procedures and processes
•Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers
•Maximizing earnings by keeping down labor, materials, fixed costs, and any other overheads.
•Managing and promoting talented staff through succession planning.
•Constantly striving for continuous improvement.
•Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize.
•Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
Directing and managing all logistics staff and subordinates
•Ensuring that all levels of service are at a very high standard.
•Ensuring that all appropriate documentation is kept on file and available for inspection at all times
•Monitoring the cost, quality, and efficiency of both the movement and storage of stock and goods.
•Comprehensive knowledge of logistical procedures and processes
•Identifying and quickly resolving any stock discrepancies that may occur
•Maximizing earnings by keeping down labor, materials, fixed costs, and any other overheads.
•Willing to take responsibility for the day to day management & administration of the supply chain.
•Proficient with QAD, WAMAS and Fully Automated Warehouse (SSI SCHAEFER)
•Practical experience managing Health and Safety operationally across a large team
Bachelor or Commerce
