•To perform / review Cooling and Heating Load calculations and ventilation requirement, design drawings, HVAC control- and fire protection systems.
•To select HVAC equipment such as Chillers, AHUs and HVAC accessories (air outlets, volume dampers, fire dampers, sound attenuators, etc.)
•To perform Duct & pipe sizing calculation & preparation of D&ID, Air flow diagram, General Arrangement for ducting layout.
.To provides support for Installation, Inspecting & testing, commissioning and maintenance of HVAC installation systems and equipment.
•To issue and develop Company Design General Specifications (DGS), Standards, procedures and guidelines related to HVAC for use in-house or by the Contractors with regard to projects undertaken.

Experienced In performing heat load calculations using Carrier E20-II software HAP/HEVACOMP or equivalent and complying with ASHRAE standards and knowledge of performing building energy simulation calculation.
. Selection of HVAC equipment for air & water side using different computer soft wares and printed data.
. Preparation of design drawings including flow diagrams, air balance, chilled water and plumbing (Water Supply and Drainage) riser diagrams, plant room drawings, ducts and pipe sizing and layouts on plans, sections drawings and preparation of equipment schedules.
. Duct design according to SMACNA standards, chilled water piping design according to design standards and best practices.
.Site inspections/approvals of works and materials.
.Preparation of the tender specifications schedules and related documents.
•To design in-house engineered works including drawing, specifications/data sheets, material requisition and bills of quantities.
•To review design of HVAC equipment including drawing, specifications/data sheets, material requisition and bills of quantities.
.Share the understanding of air conditioning products and advising the suitable application for each project.
.Technical support related to products as well as project design for key MEP consultants, contractors.
.Preparation of technical documents such as technical data sheets, compliance statements, technical selections.
. Working out the project technical specification and prepare technical offers,
. Have done factory visits and have seen product features and options practically.
. Have knowledge of applicable international standards such as ARI, Eurovent and ASHRAE.
. Understand the method statements, installation requirements, factory acceptance test procedures (FAT).

PROJECT TITLE: “To build a small vapor compression and air conditioning demonstration unit”.
