Role description:
Responsible for leading the BIM team and producing high quality project design deliverables on all phases of design development including Pre-Design, Schematic Design, Detail design, Tender documents, Construction documents etc. for Middle East projects.
Responsible for providing technical leadership to BIM teams comprising architects and technicians, coordination and management of sub-consultants and specialists, formulation of tender documentation and specifications, client liaison.

Role : Architecture Team Lead for Documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
•Prepare design, detailed drawings and ensuring that they confirm to the technical and professional requirements
•Maintain drawings and files in accordance with ISO standards
•Leading the BIM Revit team in project modeling and documentation.
•Preparing Preliminary or conceptualization design drawings
•Estimates, in coordination with the Head of Department and Project Manager requirements for resources-management, materials and time required to complete the project
•Provide required design inputs to the Quantity Surveyor and on timely manner to prepare accurate cost estimate relevant to the stages of design and control the Project budget
•In coordination with the Project Secretary/Document Controller, monitors and maintains updated registers for all submittals and follow up with the authority approvals
•Record and maintain a register for all design changes and advise the Project Manager accordingly. Help in preparing variations claims as applicable
•To strictly adhere to the company policies, procedures, code of conduct and limits of authority and any changes thereafter
Key responsibilities include:
•Responsible for evaluation of Client’s RFT and understanding design briefing, guidelines
Methodology for submission of tender design package as per the agreed time frame.
•Identify key design issues & responsibilities from bid documents.
•Technical review of bid documents and drawings and determining design tasks
and identifying additional inputs required
•Designing prefabricated Modular building elements. Preparing 3D visuals for presentation.
•Ensure the information flow including maintaining RFIs/TQs to all parties.
•Prepare and maintain material specification sheets and submission of finishes materials
for client’s approval.
•Liaise with procurement department and suppliers for smooth flow of materials in terms
Of lead time and cost.
•Organize and brief CAD production team to produce construction drawings
•Preparation of interface / joinery sketches for cad technicians and ensure the drawings are met with the standard QA/QC procedures.
•Extensive knowledge of design detailing and construction methodology.
•Liaise with document control for submission/issuing of construction drawings/documents
•Reviewing and approving the drawings / Material submittals by sub contractors
•Discuss and develop details with project teams for inclusion on drawings and site implementation.
•Coordination with QS & procurement department regarding design issues on budget cost and variations
•Attending internal meetings (design kick off & project progress) to introduce and flag on issues on the ongoing jobs.
•Liaise with contractors/project managers and attending site meetings & inspection to ensure the work quality and design languages are strictly followed.
•Provide the link between the in-house tender and construction teams and any external consultants and specialist trade contractors undertaking design and detailing work
•Challenging the design to minimize waste, maximize value and reduce risk
Key skills:
•Ability to swiftly appraise all types of information for completeness
•Good communication skills (spoken and written)

•Experienced in CAD, 3D presentation, Document control.

•Technical understanding of design and specification issues

•Creating 3D rendered images for the projects using various softwares.
•Coordinating with production and installation for effective material management.
•Monitoring the progress of the projects and proactively communicating project related issues with Clients and management.
•Understanding and ensuring compliance with project terms and conditions.
•Preparation of shop drawings based using AutoCAD 2006. The drawings are detailed in all aspects of installation and fabrication.
•Understanding and implementing company policies, procedures, rules and regulations efficiently

• Meeting clients for the initial briefing and design presentation.
