Carrying out all inspection activities for oxygen service pipeline & equipments
Witnessing Installation of piping equipment maintenance, welding, NDT, document review, etc
1. Review & inspection of material test certificates of incoming materials.
2. Carrying out Welder Qualification Test as per client & standards specifications.
3. Carry out stage wise inspection in piping like fit up, welding, dimensional checking, installation stage wise inspection as per ITP, etc
4. Preparation of all stage wise inspection reports for Piping & review with TPI or client.
5. Preparation of Quality Related Site Observation Report for ensuring good quality standards.
6. Performing Quality Control Documentation as per Quality Inspection Procedure, Inspection & Test plan.
7. Inducting the site/construction team about the quality standards required to be maintained as specified by client.
8. Review of the NDT report like Radiographic Films, MPI Reports, LPI Reports, Ultrasonic reports.
9. Preparation of Hydro testing & pneumatic Test Packs.
10. Carrying out line walk with clients for performing the hydro/Pneumatic Testing
11. Witnessing the Post hydro testing/Pneumatic Testing activities.
12. Carrying out reinstatement activities & line walk after post hydro test.
13. Project Quality documents dossier preparation & handover activities.
1. Preparation of Quality procedures, Quality Control Plan (QCP), Inspection & Test plan (ITP) as per client procedures & specifications.
2. Preparation of Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), Procedure Qualification Record (PQR), Welder Performance Qualification as required.
3. Review & inspection of material test certificates of incoming materials.
4. Circulation of all quality procedures, specifications, approved drawings to site for proper guidance in work & the same to be monitored for any kind of violation.
5. Carry out stage wise inspection in piping like fit up, welding, dimensional checking, Equipments installation stage wise inspection as per ITP, etc.
6. Preparation of all stage wise inspection reports for Piping, Equipments & review with TPI or client.
7. Preparation of Quality Related Site Observation Report for ensuring good quality standards.
8. Carry out/Witnessing the Non destructive Testing in co-ordination with TPI or client & simultaneously preparing/review/ approval of reports with client.
9. Performing Quality Control Documentation as per Quality inspection Procedure, Inspection & Test plan.
10. Carry out internal audits for the smooth & efficient functioning of the system of related sites, shops & stores.
11. To ensure all the equipments, measuring instruments that is being used are duly calibrated & tagged by a certified TPI or client & maintaining a Timely checklist of calibration index to ensure delays in upcoming calibration activities.
12. Co-ordinate with TPI or client for quality related activities.
13. Review of the project scope of work, material specifications & drawings for any conflict with the requirement of the quality standards & advise engg dept to initiate corrective actions with the client prior to commencement of work. Carry out blasting & painting as per approved/client specification.
14. Preparations of Site weld plan, Joint tracking & Identification in Pipeline projects.
15. Preparation of Hydro Test Package, Punch lists & duly witnessing the same with TPI/Client.
16. Carry out training & awareness sessions to all junior staffs & supervisor for obtaining quality works.

12. Performing Quality Control Documentation as per Quality inspection Procedure, Inspection & Test plan.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for checking the use & storage of all welding consumables & equipments.
2. Preparation of Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), Procedure Qualification Record (PQR).
3. Interpretation of Isometric drawings & weld maps.
4. Witness of welding procedure qualification, welder performance qualification & approval.
5. Handle the tasks of controlling & maintaining of quality welding standards.
6. Handle the tasks of responding to technical queries & perform investigation of field welding related problems.
7. Ensure that the welding, heat treatment, hardness testing, inspection & non- destructive testing are in compliance with the relevant codes & specifications.
8. Responsible for maintaining safe working environment for all personnel working on the job site.
9. Coordinate with engineering & construction staff as well as liaise with clients on welding requirements.
10. Training welders & supervisors about basic concepts.
11. Following good engineering practices.
12. Handling the tasks of investigating, developing & implementing welding processes & procedures including procurement, specification & trouble shooting of welding equipments & fixtures.
13. Evaluate new development in welding field for potential applications to current welding problems.
14. Project wise planning of welding consumables.
15. Defect mapping & attain the repair work.
16. Preparation of welding inspection summary.
17. Maintaining welding inspection/NDT reports and record tracking.
18. Inspection of joints fit up, alignment and dimensional accuracy as per drawing requirements.
1. Assist site quality person in Dimensional fit-up check, Welding Inspection check
2. Monitoring temperatures of Mother Oven, Holding oven & get duely signed from site Quality person.
3. Circulation of all quality related documents received from site quality person to all supervisors & foremen.
4. Co-ordinate with site quality person for performing & Witnessing of NDT Testing.
5. To ensure joint identifications of all piping welded joints as mentioned Weld Plan details.
