Assist in food safety / quality management system and review of all documents related to FSM system and in-
charge in monitoring every process involved in the production area ensuring all activities are performed as per
the described BRC, FSSC, ISO and Halal food standards.
1. Maintains quality standards by approving receiving materials, controlling in-process product and
finished goods.
2. Ensure imported & exported material complies with the Laws and regulations of countries involved.
3. Measures quality demerit index in day to day operations, investigate & formulating plan of action for
necessary corrective actions.
4. Handle customer complaints: initiate root cause analysis and take corrective and preventive action.
5. Responsible for performing Food safety & Quality audits for Factory and Suppliers.
Supervise Certification and third party audits and their follow up.
6. Liaise with municipality for product, Labels approvals and inspection visits at plant.
7. Record, maintain & implement PRP’s, OPRP’s, CCP’s required for Food Safety Programs.
8. Conduct Hazard identification and risk assessment verify process Flow as per the changes.
9. Review FSMS Manual and update as per the Process Changes & maintain relevant documents.
10. Identify training needs, develop plan and conduct training for all staff on QA/QC Procedure and Hygiene practices.
11. Member of Food Safety & Sensory Evaluation Panel for product approval & release of final product from SAP after satisfactory decision by panel.
12. Support R&D Department, developing formulation for new products and re-formulating existing products and setting in Specs. As per customer and sales requirements.
13. Ensure all products meet quality and safety specifications.
14. Inspects products prior to packaging and return rejected products to production departments.
15. Acting officer in the absence of the FSMS Team leader.
