Key Deliverables:
• Ensure that the materials are replenished in time and the inventory is maintained at an optimum level to meet the demand.
• Develop, implement and execute the inventory reordering strategies for all stock items based on demand forecast, in consultation with the stakeholders.
• Monitor inventory management system, consumption analysis and optimize inventory by carrying out ABC classification & certain inventory reduction exercises. Set up and Control Cyclic and Periodic Inventory Counts in the main warehouse and sites.
• Responsible to carry out Inventory FSN & Aging analysis of materials for each plant.
• Support MRP Implementation - Data and Inventory Set up, MRP Settings (ABC Classifications, ROP, ROQ, Total Lead Time etc.) and Ensure MRP operates efficiently and data is accurate and up to date and resolve any issues as required.
• Work with Material Planning staff to resolve issues, update material schedules and ensure supporting MRP systems reflect forecast and demand for products.
• Establish inventory management parameters like re‐order point, re‐order quantity, safety stock, and Min/Max stock levels and suggest their appropriate values by taking into account lead times, consumption history and criticality (as suggested by user).
• Schedule the supply of materials/spares to meet operational requirements and minimize safety stock levels by carrying stock to order reports, consumption Analysis like change in MRP Type and Stock levels of the materials with prior approval of Management.
• Replenishment of Spare parts as per set Min/Max Stock levels and follow up of PR/PO and timely deliveries
• Responsible for creating/Extension/Modification/deletion of material master records in MDG/SAP ERP system.
• Responsible for maintenance and Standardization of materials Master data Dictionary i.e. Class and Characteristic types and Values etc) in SAP ERP system.
• Develop BOMs for material availability and offering substitutes where possible.
• Take measures to eliminate material data redundancy and inaccuracy, identify areas of data quality improvement and help to resolve data quality problems through appropriate choice of error detection, correction, control and improvement.
• Responsible to provide support and training to Users for searching material codes from existing Material master record and creation of new material request through MDG tool.
Achievements:
• Configuration and Implementation of MRP on Plant, Project and Plant Area levels in the MPCL. Automatic consolidation of Purchase Requisitions as per manufacturer.
• Implementation of Material Data Governance (MDG) tool for cataloguing and standardization in the MPCL.
• Automatic scheduling of cyclic count items as per defined ABC for count through SAP.
• Developed Inventory procedures of MRO ordering, MRP Planning, ABC classification, Cyclic counts, Goods Receipt, Issuance, Transfer Postings, Materials return in Warehouse, write-off, Obsolete Inventory, Materials Handling and storage etc.

Perform consumption Analysis of Inventories & recommendation based on analysis to set ROP/ Max and MRP type of materials.
• Perform Supply Data Analysis i.e. Lead Time calculation, Supply reliability etc.
• Perform Maintenance Data Analysis i.e. criticality of spare parts associated with respective equipment.
• Perform ABC classification of Inventory
• Perform stock analysis and recommend material stocking/non Stocking in Warehouse.
• Perform service level/ Materials availability analysis for items.
• Perform Inventory cycle count activities according to procedure.
• Perform analysis of Non-moving/ Damaged/ Expire/ obsolete items and Write off as per financial procedures.
• Participate in Audits of Inventory Management, Close out of action items of Audits and maintain record.
• Support Inventory supervisor in reviewing procedures and innovative ways to maximize the performance of the team.

• Defining & Maintaining Min/ Max & Safety stock levels of Items to meet plant contingency Spare parts requirements.
• Perform EOQ of items which are fast moving and with consistent consumption and manage their stock through fixed lot size by Blanket Orders/ Price Agreement. to optimize inventory and ensure Just in time delivery (JIT).
• Perform material requirement planning (MRP) of items according to set procedure to replenish Inventory.
• Technical Acceptance/ Rejection of Vendor quotations as per item descriptions of inventory.
• Processing of Reservations of Materials for Turn arounds / Shut Downs, Major overhauling of Machines, Seasonal activities etc by considering in hand stock of inventories followed by raising Purchase requisitions.
• Follow Up on Inventory purchase requisitions with Finance (release of requisitions or payments), Buyers (Issuance of Purchase orders & OS&D items) and Logistics team (timely delivery of material).
• Handling of materials i.e. Receipt of materials, storage of material, Issuance & return of material according to Warehouse Management Standard
• Perform annual physical inventory count and ensure accuracy of stock 100%.
• Perform ABC analysis of inventory followed by cycle counts and incorporate in SAP system
• Perform analysis of Slow moving/ Obsolete/ Surplus/ Dead inventory and revise Min/Max & Safety stock of items accordingly
• Create new items record in SAP, maintain item master to avoid duplication items and associate items with their respective Equipments.
• Maintain Asset Master Register for Field assets i.e. New purchase tools, Equipments etc.
• Dispose off/ Retire Expire/ Dead/ Obsolete/ Surplus inventories or asset items according for financial procedure.
• Ensure materials are stored in Warehouse according to Warehouse Management Standard especially for Hazardous chemicals MSDS is available.
• Ensure safety system is available, functional and maintained in Warehouse (i.e. Fire/smoke detectors, Fire Extinguisher, Eye wash stations, first Aid boxes, emergency exits etc.
• Ensure Compliance of ALL HSSE corporate/ field standards, Procedures and/ or work instructions.
• Management of Waste according to waste management procedure
• Maintain SPIR according to procedure.
• Improve safety at work by increasing safety consciousness of supervised staff and the staff directly involved in execution of jobs.
• Prepares KPIs of Warehouse and reports on material and warehouse activities
• Supervise 12 persons team, coaching, counselling and assign them day to day tasks and their daily activities
