Responsible for the entire field operations of all equipment in tanks farms and Jetty, (70 tanks Capacity 2.1 Million cubic meters), Manifolds & Jetty, generally consist of all or some of the following items Centrifugal pumps, Screw pumps of 2000m3/hr and Pneumatic Pumps, Diesel & Electrical compressors of 550 m3/hr, Diesel Engine fire water pumps of 1500m 3/hr, Marine Loading Arms, storage tanks, pipelines, columns/vessels, control valves, block valves, jetty equipments, Nitrogen Plants Operation, Fuel Heater Operations Pipe line inspection, Pigging, Products Blending( in line and tank to tank), Tank Gauging, Tank striping etc.

Responsible for the entire field operations of all equipment in my assigned area, equipments generally consist of all or some of the following items: Cryogenic pumps, Boil off Compressor, Refrigeration unit (using propane as refrigerant) Centrifugal pumps, compressors, Vaporizers, Diesel Engine fire water pumps of 1500m3/hr, Marine Loading Arms, storage tanks, pipelines, columns/vessels, control valves, block valves, Truck loading arms and jetty equipment. I have to response immediately to plant process upsets/emergencies and safety emergencies, which can include chemical (gas or liquid) leakage and fires etc. I m normally the first person to observe and react to any field equipment abnormalities

At Compressed Gas Plants (Dissolved Acetylene & Nitrous Oxide)

Supervise the operation of 75m3/hr Acetylene and 40kg/hr Nitrous Oxide plant PLC based, with ensuring Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) standards during all plant operations, play a main role in plants startup and shutdown activity.
Daily filling of compressed gas cylinders. Member of Quality team. Medical release as well as batch / lot number assignment. Trained employees on procedures for filling of medical and commercial gas mixtures. Managed and distributed labels for compressed gas cylinders as well as liquid dewars(containers) Managed daily log of bulk shipments received and corresponding lot numbers. Performed routine calibration of all product release analyzers.



At Gas Liquefaction Plant / ASU (Oxygen, Nitrogen & Argon)

Daily operation of Air Separation Plant, start up, shut down. Monitor purities testing during all stages of operation including the loading of product into bulk transports. Medical release specialist and batch release specialist. Daily monitoring of cooling tower. Perform PM's on all equipment within the plant. Transferring of product to back up storage tanks. Data entry of production numbers and daily review of product purities and lot numbers of product transferred, Calibration of analyzers.
Adjust temperature, pressure, level, flow rate, and transfer of air to maintain processes at required levels and to correct problems.
Control fractioning columns, compressors, purifying towers, heat exchangers, and related equipment in order to extract nitrogen and oxygen from air.
Monitor equipment functioning, observe temperature, level, and flow gauges, and perform regular unit checks, in order to ensure that all equipment is operating as it should.
Turned valves in specified sequence to control flow of air through series of units that compressed and liquefied it, removed carbon dioxide and impurities, and separated resulting product into nitrogen and oxygen.
Cleaned and refilled drier with activated alumina
Tested oxygen for purity and moisture content at various stages of process, using moisture meter
Start and shut down the plant equipment


Responsible for safe and non stop production with HSE standards and also responsible for Plant trouble shooting, Preventive Maintenance and yearly shut down, Reconciliation of production performance register and logging daily shift monitoring sheet. Issuing of work permits and ensuring that no job is started without a work permit. Applying LOTO etc, Reporting Safety incidents such as near misses in our Global database.
