Job Responsibilities:
Work Site :Sheraton Hotel Mall of the Emirates (5 star hotel with 481 rooms)
1. Responsible for the overall activities of Engineering Department.
2. Run the Engineering operations cost effectively without leaving any equipments out of operation.
3. Complete and close the reactive calls within the time line based on the criticality of the task.
4. Prepare and update asset list and schedule the PPM based on the critically of the equipment and site requirement.
5. Control and maintain the energy consumption through continues monitoring and the optimization of the equipments and keep the energy and water consumption below bench mark.
6. Implement good health and safety practices in the department, and run the department with no major accidents.
4 Optimize and closely monitor the specialized sub contractor SLAs and manage and maximize the output of specialized sub contracts.
5 Conduct risk assessment for all the engineering tasks and evaluate the risk involved in each task, discuss with the team and implement the procedure to eliminate the risk.
6 Systematic completion of more that 95 % of scheduled PPM jobs generated through the system.
7 Conduct tool box talk and SOP demonstration of engineering tasks to minimize the accidents and improve the output and professionalism of the team.
8 Run the operation by making sure that the budget is well managed.
9 Managed engineering department from the pre opening stage, lunged the team and started the operation of the department.
