Leading a team of 15 DCS and Outside operator, Responsible for safe and secure plant operation in shift, to co-ordinate with maintenance dept for carry out daily maintenance, PM and emergency jobs, Issue cold and Hot work permits, co-ordination with other dept. like utility, Product handling, Port Tankage to transfer /receive material. To take charge in case of supervisor is absent. Training to new operator, follow their JQP .To check samples are given on schedule and follow up for results etc.
Operate, monitor, and maintain process equipment and associated systems
• Support the shutdown and isolation of process equipment for maintenance activities
• Understand and adhere to safe operating procedures and work instructions
• Issue Cold and Hot work permits and lock©\out/tag©\out procedures
• Operate and monitor the performance of all plant and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Generate detailed records and assist with the transfer of information between work crews
• Safely handle and use process chemicals and consumables
• Ensure all activities are performed safely, within relevant regulatory and company
• Support production operations activities set by Operations Supervisor
• Maintain safety standards at all times and follow emergency procedures
• Collaborate with other technicians to optimize day©\to©\day operational activities
• Plan and do the operations preparations as per the operational requirement
• Maintaining good housekeeping at all times.
• Identifying the unsafe situations, near misses and report.
• Training to New Operators follow their JQP.

Equipment Handled: • DCS System (YOKOGAWA CS 3000)
• Continues multicompnent Distillation columns
• Vacuum Distillation
• High temperature vapor phase tubular Reactor
• Chiller Compressors
• Petrochemical tankages
• Fire water and Deluge water System
• Laboratory equipments like GC, HPLC etc.
