Working as Chief Accountant with Al Mizan Real Estate, a family owned business in UAE, Directly reporting to the Owner of the company. Responsible for all Financial accounting and dealing with the bank for loan approval.
➢ Review of monthly MIS, books closure. ➢ Cash flow statement. ➢ Preparing Budget for the running projects. ➢ Report for the owner- Budgeted v/s Actual expenses - Project wise. ➢ Dealing with RERA and other authorities for getting the approval. ➢ VAT Returns for the company and group companies. ➢ Operational and strategic bank matters- Facilities renewal, Loan commitments, ➢ External audit 2021 - Dealing with auditors. ➢ Streamlining Group cash flow procedures on receipt and disbursement of cash. ➢ Review of over all payroll of the company. ➢ Cash expenses approval. ➢ Approval for payment release to the contractors, Suppliers. ➢ Passing provisions on quarterly basis.
Working as Group Chief Accountant with Lootah holding group from March 2022, reporting to Group CFO. Responsible for Real estate, Contracting, Logistics and Services division of the group from all financial, accounting and commercial matters
➢ Review of monthly MIS, books closure. ➢ Group Cash flow and entity wise cash flow, with 16 weeks to 52 weeks forecast. ➢ Assists Group CFO in preparation of Board pack for Board meetings ➢ VAT filing for Group Companies. ➢ Operational and strategic bank matters- Facilities renewal, Loan commitments, Release of units in real estate division., Loan relaxation ➢ Sorting out earlier years audit and accounting backlogs. ➢ External audit 2021 - Dealing with auditors. ➢ Assist CEOs of individual Businesses on financial and commercial front. ➢ Streamlining Group cash flow procedures on receipt and disbursement of cash.
➢ Review payroll systems, including employment hires and terminations.
➢ Update general ledger and payroll files

➢ Interaction with Banks - Loan relaxation, Roll over of loans etc.
➢ Preparation of Accounts Receivable for Middle East region.
➢ Complete financial reports, lead the month-end closing process and conduct monthly financial forecast.
➢ Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement.
➢ Project Costing for the project over 5 Million AED.
➢ Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
➢ Well- versed in UAE VAT rules / Vat Filing
➢ Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as, invoicing, other GL transactions.
➢ Oversee financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountants
➢ Dealing with the Auditors for the complete Auditing of the company’s books.
➢ Intercompany reconciliation - on quarterly basis.
➢ Preparation of Monthly cost report (MCR) - for the project costing over 5 Million AED
➢ Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance
with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting
➢ Handling HR work such as Payroll on WPS, Calculation of overtime hrs for labours. (at site)

Letter of Credit: Oversaw incoming and outgoing (L/C)
Bank Guarantees: Oversaw outgoing and incoming bank guarantees
CAPEX Preparation: Prepared Capital Expenditure Budget (CAPEX)
Invoices Management: Handled project invoicing as per BOQ on monthly basis for the projects
Payment Follow up: Followed up of payment certificate and payment for the same
Sales and Bank Reconciliation: Handled sales and reconciled bank statements on a monthly basis
Insurance Management: Oversaw insurance for various projects and kept track of the same
Payments Management: Followed up with the collection dept for pending payments
Account Payables: Oversaw accounts payable
Account Management: Oversaw accounts receivable and reconciled with the client
