Acting as the Finance focal point at THIMUN Qatar. Responsibilities mainly include:
- Managing budgets
- Monitoring cash flows and anticipating future trends
- Working with the Head of Program to formulate strategic and long-term financial plan
- Conducting reviews and evaluation for cost-reduction opportunities

Procurement
Acting as the Procurement focal point at THIMUN Qatar. Responsibilities mainly include:
- Annual planning of conference consumables through research and evaluation
- Liaising with QF procurement to determine best deals for the organization through interaction with multiple vendors and proper negotiation
- Making sure all the consumables are supplied as per the annual plan

Transportation & Accommodation
Managing the transportation and accommodation for the international conference attendees. Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling and managing transportation needs
- Liaising with QF transportation to recruit and rent necessary transports
- Supervising the office representatives who helps attendees with transportation and at the hotels
- Responsible for accommodating sponsored conference attendees to QF partnered hotels

Publication & Design
Responsible for all the branding of the organization. The main focus are as follows:
- Designing conference booklets and promotional materials
- Putting together monthly or yearly online publications
- Supervising the student press team on demand

IT
Managing all the IT needs of the organization. Responsibilities includes:
- Design & Management of the THIMUN websites (e.g http://qatar.thimun.org/)
- Providing and advising all the IT needs of the conferences
- Maintaining different on-going subscriptions
- Advising technological solution to develop efficiencies

- Worked as front-end developer for the company 004 Arabia which provided full E-Commerce services to international retailers

- Developed online stores for clients based on their needs in cooperation with the project managers and the back-end developers

- Designed and created quick prototype/mock-ups of online stores for clients so that they can have an overview how their online store will look like

- Trained clients on how to use the Content Management System (CMS) and best practices on how to add new products to the existing site

- Maintained different information systems used by the HR department to ensure smooth HR operations

- Analyzed big data and created reports to help mentors make better decisions, evaluate current operations and make future improvements

- Introduced automated methods (using Java & Macros) for mass data extraction, data cleaning, and data modifications

- Created a comprehensive employee evaluation tool using available technology (MS Excel) that time

- Worked under the department of Information Systems of CMUQ as a part-time assistant of one of the
Professors on Mobile Web Development and Usability Testing course for the undergraduates

- Helped students with course materials and assignments and the professor with evaluating students
assignments, labs, and exams.

- Guided students in Information Systems lab with assistive technologies and softwares to carry out usability testing on their projects and also assessing students’ projects based on the usability guidelines provided by the instructor

- Helped the professor studying dif culties/challenges confronted by students (both local and international)
enrolled in universities or studying abroad

- Analyzed collected data to gure out how students overcome dif culties and diverse measures that support students in their study at university

- Generated reports and presentations based on the ndings for the professor for publication

- Built an online le submission platform for their short lm competition as part of university’s capstone project

- Designed, developed and conducted intensive usability and functionality testing on the le submission platform to ensure effectiveness, stability, and ease of use

- Met clients on weekly basis to deal with any issue and made improvements to the platform based on their feedback and suggestions

- The system is currently in use by the organization

- Worked with Carnegie Mellon University’s career development of ce to build their website to ensure a fully
accessible site with necessary information and contents

- Fixed their existing database by updating/modifying/adding new entries & conducted usability testing to ensure an easy to use website

- Worked also as a graphic designer and made several prototypes of brochures, posters, banners, magazines, logos for the office

- Worked as a backend developer for a smartphone application called “Doha City Browser” with the Arabic
Language Technology (ALT) Group at QCRI in collaboration with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)

- Was responsible for improving components of the application, database and making the application compatible with Arabic. Other tasks included conducting usability and functionality testing

- The position required adequate research to understand the nature of the application developed by experts at MIT and guring out ways to implement and use their work to t the application in the context of Doha
