In 2014, I played a pivotal role in the formation of Emirates Global Aluminum (EGA) by successfully merging two major aluminum companies, DUBAL and EMAL. This endeavor involved collaborative efforts with a diverse team of engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of systems, processes, and personnel. Additionally, I contributed to the development and implementation of new policies and procedures aimed at optimizing operations and maximizing efficiency. In 2019, I spearheaded the implementation of the Success Factor project, which automated HR processes and improved departmental efficiency. This required close coordination with the IT team and external consultants to ensure a smooth transition, along with conducting training sessions for HR staff and providing ongoing support. Simultaneously, I played a pivotal role in aligning HR policies and procedures with the company's goals, collaborating with cross-functional teams on strategic HR initiatives, including talent management and employee engagement programs. Finally, in 2021, I successfully managed the comprehensive P75 re-evaluation project for the entire EGA organization in partnership with Korn Ferry. This extensive undertaking involved a meticulous evaluation of employee performance, job descriptions, and pay structures to ensure fairness and consistency in compensation throughout the organization. By analyzing market trends and internal data, I determined appropriate salary ranges for each position, allowing EGA to maintain a competitive edge in the market and retain top talent within the organization.
