Following the post weld heat treatment for different materials and preparing the required cycle for each one & review the chart according to the specification & Code and perform hardness testing.
Visual Inspection of pipe fit up, welds joints and reject/accept as per acceptance Criteria of ASME B 31.1.
Monitor performance of the welders on the basis of radiographic inspection and promote corrective action where necessary.
Inspection of electrodes, filler wires and shielding gas used for welding.
Prepare hydro test packages, line check and punch listing.
Witnessing of Flange joint assembly and bolt torque.
Witness of alignment, orientation and dimensions of installed piping.
Preparation of as built drawing and mark additional joints.
Assuring that all joints are exposed for examination during pressure test.
Ensuring that vents are open when filling and draining lines.
Ensure that blinds are removed and correct rating gaskets are installed.

Pre-Shut-down Activities:
Find out essential places for isolation of equipment and monitoring of its activities in discussion with client and isolate the concerned activities at various stages of the process.
Shutdown Activities:
Fit- up dimension check before welding.
Check welded items for visual & deformation.
Radiographic films interpretation as per codes and standards.
Follow up workshop activities.
Perform leakage test by hydraulic and pneumatic test.
Check sand blasting.
Perform thickness test for painting.
Responsible for Site Quality Control Activities.
Check installation of piping (dimension, level& coordinates) Acc. To API 570, ASME B31.3& Spec.
Visual Inspection for all equipments which is opened (like pressure vessels, Boilers, Heat Exchangers, Valves).
Inspection after Cleaning / Nitrogen Gas purging& list out the repair activities in accordance with procedures and standards.
Ensuring that no natural gas inside pipes by gas detector device during repair.
Removal of old valves. Thickness measurement records review for all pipes.
Visual Inspection of Corroded pipes, Identifying damaged Area, install of new pipes & final Inspection.
Well knowledge in Safety precaution in maintenance of Natural gas Plants.
Receiving all Pipe Spools in site, applying dimensional check, visual inspection on site field weld area.
Site control for welding activities as per codes, standards and contract.
Welding Traceability (Cutting, Fit-up, Welding, NDT, etc...) For following
Materials (A106 GR B (P1), A312 TP 304 L (P8), A 335 P91, P11, P22) .
Reviewing and approving Material Test Certificates before performing welding.
Check welding consumables (Electrodes, Special Drying for Electrodes, Filler and Shielding).
Preparation and submission of daily Workshop inspection/activities report.
Monitor all welders’ performance and their rates.
