• To deal with banks and financial institutions: Arrangement of financial facilities, new as well restructuring of old and subsequent settlements including Syndicate funding - Guarantees Performance, Advance Payment, and Retention Money - LCs, Local and Import - Finance and Operating Leases, etc.
• To monitor finances and progress of the projects, analyze and report to CEO, and Board of Directors.
• To manage and supervise entire financial and accounts matters, i.e., Projects/Sites accounts, subsidiary and associated companies accounts, Head Office accounts, and consolidation of accounts.
• To assist in corporate matters
• Financial system development.
• Investigation of financial records.
• To coordinate with the internal and external auditors
• Managed, coordinated and got developed the Accounting Manual for the organization from M/s. Ernst & Young Ford Rhodes Sidat Hyder Chartered Accountants.
• Monitored finance and project management of “Partial construction of New Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad Project” on behalf the company, joint venture partner of M/s. Lagan-Husnain J/V.
• Managed and monitor arbitrations of the company
• Actively involved in settlement of family businesses dispute and successfully legally resolved all issues relating to businesses, bank loans and liabilities, fixed and current assets, taxation, and human resources.
• Assisted in financial and legal matters of Subsidiary and Associated companies and industries, i.e., Textile, Hospitality, and Processing.

- Sialkot Dry Port Had been:
• Answerable to the Chairman and Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees comprises of 52 trustees who are renowned exporters of Sialkot.
• The employed top head of SDPT structured in departments comprising of:
1. Bonded Air & Sea cargo warehousing,
2. Handling operations (Exports, Imports) of bonded cargo.
3. Administration,
4. Finance, Accounts, Internal & External Audit, Taxation, & Billing of port services charges.
5.Bonded area Security,
6.Construction,
7.Bonded Carrier operations of 91Nos. 40 feet trailers,
8.Secretariat,
9. Three Terminal offices at Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi.
10. Marketing for port facilities.
• Supervising strength of 550 directly employed employees in addition to almost two hundred labours,
• Dealing with Pakistan Custom Authorities regarding port matters,
• Dealing with Airlines & KPT for smooth handling of bonded cargo,
• Dealing with labour unions, and negotiations with CBA,
• Dealing with Clearing & Forwarding, and shipping lines agents.
• Involved in computerization of dryport operations,
• Dealing with legal matters, Governments departments,
• Dealing with problems of Exporters, Importers, and Trade Bodies problems and grievances,
• Made feasibilities for new ventures. Evaluated and advised for new projects/investments.
• Coordination with other dryports,
• Arranging and conducting meetings of Board of Trustees.
• Recording the minutes of meetings and implementing decisions.
- Port Services Limited (Subsidiary Company of SDP) • Responsible for all corporate affairs under Company’s Ordinance, 1984, and holding as well as reporting of BOD & general meetings of shareholders of the Company.
- Capital Insurance Company Limited (Subsidiary Company of SDP)
• Dealing with all affairs of Finance and Accounts of the company especially under the requirements of Company Ordinance 1984, Insurance ordinance 2000, International Accounting Standards (IAS) and guidelines, and Good Corporate Governance for insurance companies which included heading, advising, and monitoring of budget process, accounting, financing, reinsurance, taxation, finalization of financial statements, its internal and external audits, and publishing of financial statements as CFO.
• Responsible for conducting, recording of minutes of the Board of Directors and their committees meetings, implementing the decisions of the meetings, and monitoring the compliance of all requirements relating to filing of statutory returns under the relevant laws as a Company Secretary .
