SEC is the Saudi electric energy company, it enjoys a monopoly on the generation, transmission and distribution of electric power in Saudi Arabia through 45 power generation plants in the country. In 2019 SEC was ranked by Forbes as the 5th largest company in the Kingdom, and 578 worldwide, with total annual sales of 17.1 billion $.

Accomplishments:
• Functioned as the company's expert in transmission engineering discipline.
• Instrumental in leading an improvement study, which when applied resulted in robust savings of 700, 000 Riyals. Trained and provided technical expertise to employees internally on ABB simulator of Substation Automation System.
• Leveraged the latest technological advancements in the industry, and led project to replace 3 RTU system with updating their communication protocol in different areas (Tanajeb 230 kv S/S, Riyadh water Pump Station #5 115kv S/S, Hafuf Industrial 115kv S/S) within 6 month using short form contract.
• Embedded project culture that drive innovation and improve project, enable quality management within strict deadlines.
• Conducted Cyber Security internal audits on substation automation system - installed on all National Grid stations (Eastern Region).

Roles:
• Managing multiple installation projects and maintenance services in lines with SEC Standards.
• Commanding end-to-end project planning process right from initiation, design, engineering, material procurement, construction, commissioning to close out.
• Managing SCADA System projects, analyzing current information system needs, developing short-and long-range plans
• Balancing between engineering & economic considerations, ensuring all projects are accomplished within time & budget constraint, using latest technological tools.
• Proffering ongoing stewardship for the continuous improvement projects, evolution of transmission improvements.
• Demonstrating problem-solving skills on challenging projects - providing safe technical engineering design, cost, plans, and specifications for reconditioning or altering of existing system and equipment.
• Employing up-to-date technologies of condition monitoring, upgrading project implementation, overhauling & retrofitting solution on Remote Terminal Unit system.
• Serving as technical advisor in areas of SCADA automation, equipment purchases, and standardization. Following up on equipment manufacturing and attending factory tests.
