Job Responsibilities:

• Design & build BoQs for vendor specific solutions, based on client inputs, for the following ELV / IT Systems:

o CCTV Cameras (Pelco)
o Video Management Software (Pelco VideoXpert, Digifort, Axxonsoft, Eocortex)
o Data Storage (Infortrend, Quantum, Nexsan)
o Active Networking - Switches & Media Convertors (Zyxel, Allied Telesis, Antaira)
o WiFi Solutions - Controller & Cloud Managed (Zyxel)
o Passive Networking / Structured Cabling - Copper & Fiber (AT&T)
o UPS (Tripplite, Eaton)
o Access Control (Dorlet)

• Carefully review project specifications, schematics and perform value engineering in order to provide optimized cost effective solution.
• Conduct POCs / design trainings / product orientation sessions with clients, highlighting our product offerings, core competencies and value additions, in turn complementing the sales team.
• Meet consultants and end-users on regular basis to identify potential project opportunities, and work very closely with prospective system integrators to position products based on specifications and budget.
• Ensure that proposed materials are approved by providing compliance and / or other technical submittal documents as required.
• Enlist our vendors in the consultant’s “preferred vendors list”.
• Maintain close ties with vendors to stay updated regarding upcoming product ranges, and to ensure they provide proper technical / commercial support when required.
• Confirm site readiness by providing precise pre-requisites to client, prior to commissioning.
• Configuration of arrays & volumes on SAN storage, and mounting it on OS side using iSCSi.
• Configuration of NAS storage arrays, and sharing folders using CIFS.
• Configuration of Axxon Intellect & Digifort VMS (Recording / Failover Servers & Clients).
• Configuration of Pelco VideoXpert (CMG, VXS, OPS).
• Technical support post-handover - Troubleshoot, Identify & Rectify - all well within committed SLA timelines.
• Manage the outsourced electrical team to guarantee similar technical support for UPS clients.
• RMA processing for warranty claims - chasing the vendor’s RMA team to get immediate approval and coordinate with in-house logistics team to ensure timely delivery to client.

o Barwa Al Baraha Phase 1 & 2 (4000+ channel licenses and 12000+ TB of storage)
o Mirqab Mall (1200+ channel licenses and 3500+ TB of storage)
