The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) has overall responsibility for managing daily operations of a single restaurant (10-35 employees) ensuring delivery on guest satisfaction, and ensuring desired restaurant outcomes (i.e., increased sales, profitability, and employee retention). The RGM leads the restaurant management team and oversees the financial controls, operations, people development, Guest service and BKC compliance within the restaurant across all shifts. An RGM I ensure, for proper functioning & smooth operation of the restaurant. My performance is overseen by a District Manager. I interact with restaurant team members, restaurant management, DM’s, HR & finance customers, members of the field operations team and outside vendors
• To promote a customer focused culture by example and by encouraging in house training of all team members through an agreed training plan.
• To assist in the management of the outcomes of monthly Customer Reviews, linking these to changes in procedure and team training
• To ensure the use of current Standard Operation Procedures by all team members within the department.
• To be able to work within any section within the Food and Beverage department
• To be responsible for managing the time keeping records for all team members on your shift.
• To ensure the effective management, motivation, training and development of all team members employed in the bars and restaurants.
• To ensure facilities comply with all relevant legislation relating to health and safety, food hygiene regulations and licensing legislation
• To promote a safe, healthy and environmentally secure environment.
• To ensure the ongoing compliance with statutory requirements relating to the work of the Department
• To assist in the effective and efficient management and delivery of all Bar, Restaurant and Conference Food and Beverage activities.
• To act as team leader within the Food and Beverage operation.
• To act as Duty Manager as required.
• Achieve sales & profit target- manages P&L to required budgets.
• Maintain & improve QSC standards ensuring profitability, sales growth & other agreed goal.
• Secure measure & policies relating to cash stock & assets are implemented effectively with regard to sales.
• Develop projection of controllable item.
• Ensure that all management & staff are trained to the required B.K standard.
• Motivation & development of staff mgrs. In the line with business objective.
• Provide training & development plans for all & ensure they are completed.
• Delegate key task to restaurant management team to maximize their potential & identify potential in staff member and develop accordingly.
• Conduct restaurant management and staff appraisals.
• Customer relation management.
• Generate weekly and monthly food cost report. Food Hygiene & safety report.
• Stock ordering with regard of business needs. Knowledge of purchasing, inventory controls, supplies and equipment.
• Maintain communication with maintenance and suppliers.
• Conducting induction training program for new joiners developed the staff to manager level by providing Brand training, Food safety and Hygiene training.
• Brief, clarify the importance of HACCP, as well as the company rules and regulations.
• Generate monthly payroll and weekly staff schedule as per sales.
• Running the overall restaurant operation and with profit line.
• As an Administrative Executive, assist the School Principal, Vice Principal and Member of Trust in the areas of finance, personnel, estate management and general administration to ensure the smooth operation of the school.
• Assisting in procurement of goods and services as required by the schools and the management of agreements/contracts for workshops, canteen vendors or any other parties as may arise.
• Managing the workflow and involving in the review and streamlining of the process for efficient and effective running of the General Office.
• Maintained daily Payroll register for teachers and other workers.
• Stock Maintained and keep record in software and excel sheet also.
• Handled petty Cash book and other Bank service etc.
• Handled the cash book and maintain fees records for all students.
• Keep maintain a good relationship with parents’, Teachers related fees and other administrative purpose.
• Keep all transaction invoice (payment /receipt/purchase) records in Tally software on daily basis and assist to Accountant to financial reports.
