• Gather personal, behavioral, medical and other relevant details of client (including food /drinking habits and dining preferences) prior to planning weight management / slimming program.
• Have all body measurements recorded accurately by slimming staff from time to time and BCA to be done.
• Plan counseling session in advance to educate client on appropriate diets, menu planning and preparation of food to treat obesity in order to enhance and maintain optimum health.
• Do monthly events and presentations for the clients in the center as well as for students in schools and in social organizations/ activities.
• Monitor and review progress of client after each slimming session and devise alternate slimming plan in co-ordination with Slimming Manager and Generate valid, accurate and specific records
• Achieve and exceed the sales target per month
• Build solid relationships with customers resulting in repeat business; Expand the existing customer based
• Outstanding administrative and client handling abilities with high energy levels, efficient use of existing resources & and an inspiring team player
• Aptitude to advice clients about their dietary requirements for maintaining good health.
Plans and delivers nutritional care to patients according to the physicians' diagnosis. Perform as a member of the multidisciplinary care team. Screens newly admitted patients to identify those at nutritional risk. Exercises independent judgment. Ensure quality food services provided to patients and take corrective actions in case of deviations. Inspect food served to patients on a regular basis (trays’ line supervision).Assess patients' nutritional status and provide them with the nutritional requirements each according to his medical condition. Educate and advise a wide range of patients with dietary-related disorders on the practical ways in which they can improve their health by adopting healthier eating habits. Assist in establishing and maintaining the clinical procedures.Contribute with medical staff to ensure therapeutically diets are appropriately served to the patient. Respond to patients and physicians inquiring regarding diet issues
Participate in teaching the interns. Provide dietary education to the patient during their hospital stay, upon discharge and during follow -up visits. Assist in analyzing, gathering department’s statistics and defining corrective actions.
Dietetics Intern at Hammoud Hospital University Medical Center, Saida City, Lebanon. It was a challenging internship in which I got a valuable experience. This experience helped me build the basics of my working life as a nutritionist/ dietitian. June 2009 Certificate in Applied HACCP Principle from Boecker® Public Health September 2010 License of “Dietetics and Meal Planning” from the Ministry of Public Health/Lebanon Membership: Member in the Lebanese Dietetic Association
