Leading a team of dedicated early years professionals in the UAE, to provide pre-school, daycare and after-school services to government and private sector clients in the early years education sector in Dubai. I have developed the business from a nursery to gain early learning center status upon opening as well as providing daycare services for babies aged 2 months to children aged 6 years. The center also provides much needed provision for children of determination in partnership with public and private entities. Have established significant strategic partnerships and created a unique value proposition for a local early learning center. Notable achievements include:

• Have written all existing policies and procedures for the Center and have received KHDA approval.
• Responsible for recruitment and training of all staff as well as processing employment visas and labor approvals.
• Responsible for all safety and compliance procedures pertaining to staff, children and visitors attending the center including but not limited to working with Dubai Civil Defense, Dubai Health Authority and Dubai Municipality.
• Oversee all curriculum planning to ensure that learning is age and stage appropriate.
• Led the development of market strategies including logo design, website and company branding.
• Responsible for procurement, maintaining budgets, compiling annual reviews and forecasts.

Child Nursery Manager at Tulips Day Nursery

Tulips Day Nursery was a project that converted a term-time pre-school into a full year daycare setting, providing clients working on the commuter belt into London a much needed solution to their childcare problems. Managed a successful start-up from the establishment phase through to the execution of various mandates in the UK receiving OFSTED approvals. Built a strong team, established significant partnerships with local schools, health centers and other nursery settings in the area. Notable achievements include:

o Secured 50, 000 of Local County funding to refurbish the outdoor garden space in line with EYFS requirements.
o Successfully applied and gained Forest School status.
o Secured Government funding for the Deputy manager to complete her EYPS.
o Responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the nursery.
o Promoting and marketing the nursery to achieve occupancy targets.
o Ensuring that the setting is safe, stimulating and compliant with all safeguarding requirements.
o Keeping up to date with all government legislation pertaining to early years.
