Engaged as a General Manager Finance & Accounting, being finance division’s owner for the group, i) designed the road map for organization’s digitization process for Pakistan and UAE, ii) redesigned financial controls and SOPs to improve compliance with policies, iii) developed teams time tracking tool for project teams under Asian development bank funds iv) streamlined pre-project evaluation and post project review process through bench marking and contribution margin analysis
A 60 years old textile manufacturing and fashion brand, the only brand equity holder of woven fabric in Pakistan under the canopy of Dawood group which holds Engro Corps as their flagship company
Remained engaged as a Finance Manager, worked with top executives on some companies turn around within the group, developed various business models, revamped the textile and garment costing mechanism which contributed to marginal cost savings. Supported decision makers on import pricing mechanism which contributed a saving of US 4 million per year, contributed as a cross functional team lead in MS Dynamics deployment.

Worked in various roles, started with working as a contributor and later on moved to the management of business finance accounting, a key cross functional team member for SAP deployment, developed various financial models for Pakistan and Shell group, remain engaged for group financial reporting and annual planning cycle for the East region, few achievements
•Arranged to manage “Franchise Fee” for Non-Fuel Retailing Business at Shell’s dealers network across country through implementing "Paisa per liter (cent per liter)" set up for more than 400 Retailers
•Developed and implemented business performance view for “Fuels”, “Non Fuels Retailing & “CNG business” (Compressed Natural Gas)
•Associated with a team of Global consultants on developing “Transfer Pricing mechanism”
• Contributed a key role on “Annual planning cycle”, Finance lead- East region accepted Pakistan as the first country to lock the plan
• Demonstrated and got appreciation as a key player in Shell East region to drive deep dives on margin analysis and fuel price forecasting
• Developed and implemented “Global Working Capital” reporting Model, accepted by Group to launch it at Global Network, successfully deployed to regional leads of 70 countries in 4 major global regions
• Supported Network Manager on Investment evaluations for20 sites per year
• 30% overdue reduction in 3 months on Project “ROAR” (Retail Optimization of Accounts Receivable)
A financial consulting global organization remained in Pakistan for various years and later acquired by Abacus ELS
Joined them in 2001, after having basic training seconded to one of their premium client “Shell” to reconcile decades pending accounts, successfully completed and assigned to various complex assignments like Price differential and Fortnight pricing with Govt. JD Edwards deployment and balance sheet reconciliation
