Control and allocate the flow of work through the workshop to make the best use of staff, equipment and other resources.
•Ensure all equipment is maintained and cleaned on a regular basis and there are sufficient resources to meet business requirements.

Job Responsibilties:-

•Inspection and testing of incoming welding and construction materials to ensure they
meet project specification requirements.
•Periodic inspection of material, equipment and consumables to check for proper
storage and shelf life.
•Ensuring proper qualification of the pWPS by witnessing the destructive tests and
commence the production line.
•Setting up the machine according to the machine forming parameters.
•Inspecting the machine parameters and welding variables and ensure conformance
with the WPS.
•Supervising the production in-line with the project guidelines and schedules.
•Inspection of the welding and weld profile visually and by means of macros to ensure confirmance to applicable standards and client specifications.
•Review of radiographic films (X-rays) to locate and analyse defects according to pre-
defined parameters and acceptance standards.
•Maintaining a record of the nature and frequency of occurrence of the defects and taking remedial measures to rectify them.
•Guide the personnel to enhance reduction of scrap and resources.
•Ensure that the overall work is being carried out in conjunction with the procedure and
