Managing 08 Mechanical and Piping Engineers + 26 Draftsman team - total 34 technical persons for Proposal and Design engineering (mechanical). o Technical training, development and continuous learning with improvement in Engineering, Procurement and Construction processes along with proper documentations. o Preparation of Technical calculation sheets and software to execute engineering tasks in minimal time and with optimized cost and man-hours. o Planning and monitoring of all Design related activities. o Technical evaluation of bid documents. o Proposal engineering with technical details and Bill of materials preparation. o Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computation Fluid Dynamics (CFD) & Piping Stress Analysis for static and dynamic systems as required. o 2D & 3D Engineering drawing preparation, checking and approval. o 2D & 3D Piping Model preparation, ISOMETRICS, Piping Plans checking and approval. o Mechanical stress calculations as per ASME and EN Standards for Vessels, exchangers, columns, boilers, Waste Heat Exchangers, Waste Heat Boilers, Deaerator, Stack, Structure, Foundation bolts etc. o Development and utilization of customized WTB & FTB Software preparation for Boiler calculations. o Arrange weekly progress meetings for different Power Plant, Boiler, Vessels and exchanger projects. o Review and produce Rigging Studies for different heavy equipment. o Preparation of Transportation drawings for all equipments. o Review of Quality and ITP (Inspection Test Plans) o Reivew and approval Material MTC. o Vetting of Vendor items such as Pumps, Turbines - Gas & Steam, Dosing system, Water Treatment, Control valves, PSVs, Burners, Soot-blowers, Piping Fittings, Plates, Dish-ends, Bolts & Nuts, Spring Hangers - Constant and Variable, Flexible Bellow or Expansion Joints etc. o Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) specification as per Standards of ASME or EN. (RT, UT, MPI & DPT etc) o Ducting design, Structure, Platforms, Stair towers and ladder drawings preparation using AutoCAD and TEKLA Software. o Hold 3D Piping Model Reviews 30%, 60% & 90% and meetings. o Review PHR (Project Health Reports) and conduct meeting with Project Management Team for continuous health of project engineering being in line with project goals. o Problem solving related to Design, Manufacturing and Quality related issues. Description of Project:
Appointed as Senior Piping Design Engineer - (Piping & Boiler) at BSI Jeddah for the development of Piping Department capable of handling all Boiler External Piping containing 40 HRSGs, The expansion will convert this simple cycle power plant comprising of 40 Gas Turbines of Combined Cycle Power Plant in Riyadh.
Worked on Fuel Selection Skids & Wash Water Skids for the Power Plant. Done all the structure, piping and supports for the mentioned skids.

Duties and responsibilities:
Develop Piping Design & Drafting Team.
Develop Structural Designing team.
Develop Boiler Design and Stress Calculation team.
Conduct Engineering for Fire fighting, Cooling Water, Fuel lines and Instrument Air lines for the existing PP10 Power Plant.
Development of the state of art Workshop comprising of 5 different sections with 34 latest Machines like CNC Plasma Cutting, CNC Press, Guillotine Shear Machine, Sand Blasting Machine, Profile and Pipe Bending Machines, Orbital Automatic Welding Machines, Milling, Shaper Machines etc.
Accomplishments:
Successfully completed all mechanical stress calculations verified by 3rd party.
Designed 6 Qty Fuel and Wash Water Skids for Power Plant.
Prepared Piping Specifications as per GE recommendations and documents.
Generated Workshop Layout for optimum Piping and Boiler Fabrication along with placement of state of the art machinery.
Developing various piping specs and standards to be utilized for Boiler / HRSG and Piping Design.
• Worked as a Lead Piping & Mechanical Design Engineer; handling Piping Stress Analysis for both Boiler & Piping, 3D Drafting, 2D Drafting, BOQ, Line sizing & specification generation, Material, Code & Standards selection, Piping Supports selection & design, Piping support structure designs, NDT & PWHT requirements, Valve testings, etc. for more than 15 Projects. • Introduced concept of 3D Modeling, Automatic ISOMETRICS generation of Piping, Piping & Piping Support structure designing in Descon. Trained a lot of force in Autodesk Inventor, AutoPLANT, Auto ISOMETRICS, AutoPIPE, CAESAR II and many other types of software.
• Generated and produced number of excel sheets and software to promote automation and reduce human errors during different design phases of Piping and Mechanical equipments.
• Performed number of Static Analysis with Wind & Seismic and Dynamic including Modal, Response Spectrum, Time History, Fluid Transient, Wave Loadings & Safety Valve analysis.
• Using Ansys Workbench & CFD solved intricate design issues related to Stress Analysis & Computational fluid dynamic to solve or improvise process and mechanical designs for better and optimum performance with minimal BOQ.
• Promoted to Area Engineer and now heading Mechanical & Piping Engineers team and is responsible for Stress Analysis Piping, Boiler & Mechanical Design Calculations.

Automatic ISOMETRICS generation using ISOGEN.
Inspection and technical support for Bentley’s clients like PetroCanada for 3D Plant models.
Software enhancements and customization as per client’s requirements.
Testing of new features and industry standards in Bentley softwares.
Stress analysis of intricate PetroCanada projects using AutoPIPE & Caesar II softwares.

Worked as Condition Monitoring Engineer in Maintenance Section rectifying frequent failures in piping, rotary equipment and also involved in solutions to all operational problems of Paper Machine equipments.
Reverse engineered and designed induced draft fans for air supply in Paper Machine. Also reduced vibration and excessive bearing failures.
Project Engineer for Packages extension-BSPM. Erection of new Paper Machine.
Project Assistant for dismantling, marking and shipment of Paper Machine components and Piping from Belgium to Pakistan. (3 Months)
Project Engineer for multiple small projects of modification of equipments & piping erections and start-ups.
Condition Monitoring & Maintenance Engineer.
Accomplishments:
Represented Packages in Belgium for the purchase and shipment of a 2nd hand paper machine along with Piping and Instrumentation from Ghent to Lahore, Pakistan.
Tissue Rewinder was successfully modified and put into working condition for a 2 or 3 ply Tissue paper.
FAT (Fault Analysis Tools) have been developed to counter greater maintenance issues in paper industry parts by solving core issues and problems.
