• Reporting to Control Center Sr. Supervisor in Main Traffic Control Center, Rashid Hospital Tunnel Control Center and Dubai Intl. Airport Tunnel Control Center.
• Proactive monitoring of intelligent traffic systems in order to ensure smooth traffic flow by utilizing various specialized systems such as: SCADA, SCOOT, ORTANA and CCTV.
• Taking appropriate actions concerning road traffic accidents, closures, events or VIP passage with the aid of PTZ Cams and coordinating with the police, rapid response units and maintenance teams.
• Updating various types of message signboards (VMS, DMS, FMS, and LUS).
• Operating various safety and support systems in the tunnels such as:
o Water Tanks and other firefighting arrangements used in case of fire outbreak.
o Water Drainage System used in case of rainfalls or other cases of water accumulation.
o Tunnel Dynamic Lighting System that control in-tunnel lighting type and intensity.
o Jet Fans to control CO gas level due to congestions and fire outbreak, or in case of sandstorms affecting traffic inside the tunnel and such.
• Updating Work Handover Logs with events and report irregularities or errors for solving and follow-up.
• Using MAXIMO database to manage incidents and actions forwarded to chain of command.
• Reported to O&C Acting Director.
• Monitored CCTV and Coordinated with different local Law Enforcement organizations.
• Processed and released internal\external circulars related to Customs Seizures.
• Revised and updated Work Procedures for Customs Affairs Department 2015.
• Prepared Risk Assessment Study for the Customs Affairs Department for 2015.
• Prepared various statistical databases related to customs seizures and fines to present to the FCA.
